Application Developer

• BAU support and Pega developer
• Responsible for the resolution of defects within agreed timelines
• Address code review feedback and defects
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior developers.
• Assist Tech Lead in developing automation for test data creation.
• Assist Tech Lead in the Knowledge Transfer to BAU/Support teams.

• Responsible for the burn-down of user stories by providing the deliverables and building the capabilities that meets all acceptance criteria, is of high quality with maximised test coverage, including unit testing.
• Assist Tech Lead in developing mid and low-level technical designs of the capabilities assigned.
• Provide unit test evidence using Pega Unit and Pega Scenario where possible, or the agreed template.
• Ensure configurations are guardrail compliant and review with LSA/Tech Lead for any deviations.
• Update the relevant technical documentation, including Functional Design document, that are related to the user stories assigned.
• Responsible for resolving technical issues or queries by team members and escalate to LSA promptly.

Job Description

* Understand client requirements, provide solutions and translate requirements into application features.

* Involve in SCRUM based development approach (write stories, sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint review)

* Collaborate with the team of developers to design, develop and implement new solutions.

* Create prototypes according to requirements and confirm with the client/stakeholders before development.

* Analyse and extract insights from large and complex datasets using various statistical and machine learning methods; build and train custom models from data

* Write high quality software within the scope, time and budget without compromising on the quality and usability.

* Perform unit and integration testing and work with clients on the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before implementation.

Job Requirement

* Degree in IT/Computer studies

* Preferably with at least 5 years’ experience in Software Development

* Experience with strong development skills in Microsoft technologies like .NET, C#, MVC framework, Javascript framework, python, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Technical Design Validation. Responsibilities include assisting the Programme/Project Manager with validation of proposed solution, ensuring users requirement are captured in the solution and proposing counter solutions that would be beneficious .
-Review existing processes and deliver continuous improvements to keep pace with policy and business process changes, and implement technology refresh for supporting tools and technologies.
-Responsibilities include assisting the Programme/Project Manager to manage and ensuring timely deliverables by the respective system Contractors; ensuring deliverables conformed to the standards and control defined for the programme; identifying and managing risk and mitigation strategies; identifying, analysing and ensuring resolution of issues; managing change control.
