Recruitment & Selection:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract suitable candidates for security officer roles.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media, career fairs, and partnerships with training institutions.
- Conduct initial screening and interviews to assess candidates' suitability for security positions, ensuring they meet regulatory and client requirements.
Compliance:
- Ensure all candidates meet the licensing and certification requirements set by the Singapore Police Force and other regulatory bodies (e.g., PLRD).
- Verify necessary documentation, such as education qualifications, security licenses, and employment eligibility.
Onboarding & Engagement:
- Coordinate the onboarding process, including medical checks, uniform fittings, and orientation.
- Provide guidance on licensing applications and renewals as required.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with the operations team to understand client requirements and deployment needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including training providers and community organizations.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire, and propose improvements.
Workforce Planning:
- Support manpower planning efforts to ensure adequate staffing for all contracts and ad-hoc assignments.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future roles.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in the security or manpower services industry in Singapore.
- Familiarity with fast pace hiring processes for security officers, including licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage candidates and clients effectively
- A proactive and results-driven mindset.
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
- A team player with strong organizational and time-management skills.
