Duties and Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will:

• Greet and assist residents, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for residents, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Verify identification and approve entry based on pre-approved access lists.
• Maintain regular communication with the management office, other security officers, and emergency contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including parking areas, common areas, and critical security points.
• Be a quick thinker during emergency response

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Possess a valid PLRD License

[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the following:

• Manage and monitor surveillance technology to augment enforcement operations

• Manage vendors and contracts such as raise work orders, manage contract utilisation and upkeep of service and quality standards

• Plan and carry out enforcement operations

• Attend to related enquiries and troubleshooting issues

• Maintain and monitor quality of enforcement engagements

• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

• Experience in investigation and enforcement work

• Keen interest in environmental public health

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Basic knowledge in the application of data/video analytics and/or machine learning will be advantageous

• Able to work nights and on weekends/ public holidays, as required

As a Security Manager we rely on you to:

The Security Manager is to assist Director of Security is responsible for the overall operational capability, monitoring standards and procedures, developing security awareness, enhancing communication, implementing structured training procedures, provide guidance and undertaking security audits.

• Provide assistance and advice where security situations arise
• Monitoring security related cases and recommending course of action
• Ensuring crime reports are property investigated and processed
• Ensuring effective communication between hotels on security related issues and escalating these where appropriate to management
• Promoting staff awareness in relation to security related issues

Requirements

• Candidate must have completed minimally Secondary School “O” Levels, and/or NITEC / Diploma in Safety and Security
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Candidates must be able to converse and write in English
• Candidates must also display alertness, good communication skills and honesty
