Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Security team, and critically, ensuring the safety and security of the guests of the Resort. Together with the rest of the Security team, the incumbent will implement security protocols, respond to emergencies, and undertake other security-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Responsible for regular inspections and patrols of the premises, including both public and back-of-house areas. As part of this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring our security systems to detect and prevent any security breaches.
- Incident Management and Reporting: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, and take appropriate action to resolve issues. The Security Supervisor will also be responsible for preparing incident reports, and maintaining accurate records of security activities and incidents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and reporting requirements. You will also assist to maintain updated security records and other related documents to enable the accurate monitoring of security in the Resort
- People Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security officers. You will also, where necessary, assist in scheduling and assigning duties for the team.
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Nitec or an equivalent professional qualification in Security Management, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Security Management, preferably in the hospitality industry. Experience in pre-opening security setup and implementation would be useful.
- Extensive knowledge of security policies, procedures, risk management and emergency response.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
