Job Description

1. Policy implementation: Review and update policy on research security and collaborate with research units to implement related procedures and protocols.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments of research projects and facilities to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies through review of research agreements and related documents.
3. Training and Awareness: Develop awareness/training program for faculty, staff, and students on research security best practices, compliance requirements, and incident reporting procedures.
4. Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for research security matters. Work closely with various departments, including IT, compliance, legal, and research units to promote a culture of security and compliance in research activities.
5. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance with research security policy, perform related analysis and prepare reports for senior management on related activities. Support scheduled compliance audit/inspection on research security readiness and mitigation measures compliance and recommend improvements and follow up actions.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in science or engineering discipline preferred;
• At least 5 years’ working experience in research management/administration or similar roles in compliance;
• Experience in research related functions in higher education sector, or research contracts management will be an advantage;
• Knowledge or experience in reviewing and developing policies and procedures;
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment; strong problem-solving capabilities;
• Meticulous, independent and organised individual with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion as may be necessary in the job function.

Job Responsibilities:

• To perform all duties associated with the cleaning of walkways, public areas and guest reception area of the hotel.
• Ensure that the condition of fixtures, fittings and building components are well-maintained.

• Able to work on rotational shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will:

• Greet and assist residents, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for residents, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Verify identification and approve entry based on pre-approved access lists.
• Maintain regular communication with the management office, other security officers, and emergency contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including parking areas, common areas, and critical security points.
• Be a quick thinker during emergency response

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Possess a valid PLRD License

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore, invites applications for multiple tenure track Assistant Professor appointments. Applicants are expected to have research and teaching expertise in the fields of public policy, public administration, and/or public management. Of particular interest are scholars whose research and teaching focuses on Public Management, Leadership, and Ethics; Law, Regulation, and Governance of Emerging Technologies; Decentralization, Urbanization, and Local Government; Bureaucracies, Public Finance, and Policy Processes; and Data Analytics/Science and Public Policy. Scholarship that have applications to Asia, particularly East and Southeast Asia, but speaks to the broader field are welcomed.

Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• a completed PhD in public administration, public management, public policy, political science, or related disciplines
• potential to publish in world class academic research outlets
• ability to teach core and specialized courses in public administration, public management, and public policy
• a willingness and ability to mentor graduate students and supervise graduate degree these
• a willingness to engage with a wide range of external interests including public bodies, businesses, not-for-profits and research or learning communities.
