About the Role

Ability to achieve business sales targets and other key performance indicators as prescribed by the company

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to achieve business sales targets and other key performance indicators as prescribed by the company
• To hunt for and expand sources of referrals, which may include AIA related entities in the region eg AIA agencies in the region and Bank Partners, as well as non AIA related entities which might have potential for to introduce Affluent / HNW clients which may include International Brokers, Bancassurance, FA and Agency channels, to foster and build sales growth
• Develop and nurture Introducers through activities focused on business development and training
• Organize, participate, and provide support to external networking events/conference/seminars (onsite or online) with the purpose of generating potential corporate leads
• Complete the onboarding process for the introducers and ensure they are equipped with the right knowledge and process to refer prospects
• Have the discipline to provide timely and accurate prospect information and sales activity data for the purposes of management reporting and sales forecasting to senior management
• Ability to pitch and deliver sales presentations to Introducers and in some cases directly to end clients
• Responsible in keeping company's product and marketing collaterals such as product brochure, application forms, policy contracts, client presentation deck, intermediary training deck etc. up to date
• Participates in scheduled sales training and other professional development courses to enhance sales skills and meet the mandatory CPD hours requirement to ensure Fit & Proper
• Undertake any other projects

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business Management / Banking & Finance)
• Minimum 10-15 years of sales & management experience in the finance industry, preferably life insurance
• Attained CLI, ILP, HI, FNA qualification e.g., M5, M9 & HI
• Strong business development & high net worth (HNW) experience with partners and intermediaries which includes but not limited to international brokerages, bancassurance, FA and agency channels
• Good technical knowledge of high net worth (HNW) insurance, investment and wealth management products and services
• Demonstrated track record in achieving sales target
• Effective problem solving, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills combined with a results-oriented, positive, can-do attitude
• Broad understanding of compliance issues related to local legislation and understands industry trends and governmental regulations.

• Lead Medium to Large scale projects independently (projects above $1m)

About the Role A Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for executing AIA's HNW strategies and increasing AIA's HNW market share through brokers channel, driving sales and business development activities by building strong rapport and relationships with international brokers/banks, and delivering high level of quality service and support to forge strong partnership and sales growth. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Work closely with Head of Brokerage to develop an appropriate business plan to achieve sales target for the distribution channel. About the Role The Manager of Partnership Distribution Business Intelligence will manage a business intelligence team centered on providing sales performance insights. He/She will develop and implement critical business intelligence initiatives, oversee the collection, transformation and visualization of data and participate in projects that will contribute to strategic business objectives. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Business Intelligence, Analytics & Data: Plan the strategic design, delivery and maintenance of PD reporting and analytics to implement meaningful quantitative or qualitative insights. Acts as strategic business partner to create and deliver value-added dashboards and data feeds to optimize visibility in business performance. Develop consistent approaches and methodologies for data analysis, automate repeatable tasks and drive process efficiencies. Lead change initiatives to transform existing data management, revamp and automate reports to enable up-to-date analytics for sales channels. Participate in annual internal and external strategic business planning, including charting PD ambitions and financial growth. Drive a governance framework to identify and evaluate data quality issues. Collaborate with project stakeholders to curate and execute initiatives. At least 10 years of working experience in business performance analysis reporting and data analysis, with 5 years in a managerial position. A self-starter with analytical curiosity and strong business acumen to connect from mass data to transform sales MI into value-added analysis. Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience, with ability to develop relationships across local and group levels. Results and detail orientated with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and ability to make data driven recommendations. Strong in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Proficient with SQL, NoSQL, Python and other common programming languages. Good experience in running statistical tests, importing data into dashboards and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview or a similar tool. Knowledge of life insurance industry in Singapore and/or Asia would be an added advantage.
