You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of Silver Generation Office's (SGO) volunteer management strategy as well as the entire life cycle management of Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) and other volunteers.
- Keep up to date on the latest trends, identify gaps and opportunities as well as adopt best practices.
- Develop strategy and front the design and implementation of volunteer programme including implementing strategies across the volunteer management lifecycle (Recruitment, Recognition, Rejuvenation, Retention and Exit).
- Develop and implement volunteer engagement and recognition strategies, including long service awards and the like, as well as work with the Satellite Offices and Social Service Agencies to build the right volunteer service culture and an overall positive volunteer experience.
- Establish partnership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders so as to expand the pool and diversity of volunteers.
- Drive initiatives to increase partnerships and channels for recruitment, etc.
- Lead branding and publicity for the volunteer programme to improve public awareness and credibility of SGO's work with the aim of boosting potential recruitment possibilities.
- Grow expertise in volunteerism and strategise to position AIC as a thought leadership in volunteerism in the eldercare sector.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline, preferably in social sciences, healthcare or marketing/comms
- At least 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in supervisory role
- Proven track record of leadership in volunteer management and experience in partnership management, collaboration and relationship building
- Ability to create and maintain collaborative work relationship within the organisations and with external stakeholders
- Demonstrate expertise in project management and process improvement
- Strong critical thinking, analysis and problem solving skills, and the ability to adjust to multiple priorities
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
