You will be a part of the Business Finance team, supporting the management through providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis.

You will be trained to understand the insurance business and play a critical role in finance system transformation.

This is a highly visible position where you will need to interact with various business units to understand the variances on the financials and provide support in their decision-making process.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly management reporting process, work closely with the financial reporting team to ensure process runs smoothly and deliver monthly financial pack to management.
• Prepare analysis on the financials and presentation slides for monthly management meetings and thematic discussions.
• Support the business finance team in preparation of Board and Audit Committee meetings deliverables (e.g. Financial commentaries, discussion papers).
• Support the business finance team in the quarterly forecast and annual budget exercise.
• Support IFRS17 business planning project.
• Consolidate inputs and understand the variances through discussion with various business units.
• Participate in finance system and process transformation project.
• Take on ad-hoc assignment to support internal and external stakeholders on finance related matters

Requirement

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ Business Administration or relevant discipline.
• At least 2 years’ experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, Essbase system, Tableau and Alteryx have an added advantage.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, analytical and can handle voluminous data with ease.

As a Finance Business Analyst, you will be joining an exciting team in finance that support Income’s transformation journey.

Responsibilities

• This role will support the finance management team in various finance initiatives (regulatory, transformation, optimization) and support the system implementations.
• He/she will work closely with Business Units, IT teams, internal finance stakeholders and external vendors to supporting business-led IT initiatives and projects.
• He/she will work closely with Information Technology team and internal finance stakeholders in supporting organization IT initiatives like systems upgrade for tech refresh (TRM), etc.
• Providing business analysis support to finance stakeholders with business and technical inputs and recommendation during system implementation.
• Providing project management support to finance stakeholders to ensure project status, timeline, resource requirements are communicated and updated.
• He/she will coordinate and work with finance stakeholders in resource planning, project scheduling, and coordinate for requirement gathering, UAT activities and project tracking.
• He/she will also provide 1st level IT application support and audit support on Finance owned applications (SAP, Hyperion-Essbase).

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT / Accountancy / Business.
• At least 2 years experiences in IT Project Management and/or Business analysis.
• Experience with insurance, accounting, financial reporting and/or, finance operations domain knowledge.
• Knowledge and implementation experience in SDLC, agile implementation.
• Able to work independently as well as in team.
• Possess strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Possess problem solving skills.
• Good in communication and writing skills, able to present to various types of audience.
