We are looking to hire a Project Manager to join our Data Center team in Singapore. This position is focused on the growth of the APAC Data Center market share and the capture and execution of Data Center projects across Asia and ANZ. The role responsibilities include Strategic Account Management, Design & Project Management, and Project Acquisition.
- Responsible for both technical and financial aspects of the project.
- Leads and manages the team of Architects and multi-disciplinary Engineers through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
- Completes the scope of work to the satisfaction of the Client, while simultaneously ensuring that Jacobs HS&E, quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met. Recognize cultural sensitivities with Clients from other parts of the world.
- Play a significant role in the business development activities. This typically includes Client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, proposal preparation, presentation, and contract negotiation.
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:
- Minimum Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
- Membership e.g. Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer / PMP would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of experience working in a design consultancy environment with 5 years of Data Center project experience.
- Proven capability to manage a large Data Center project of high complexity.
- Deep understanding and ability to apply the knowledge and skills required in the Data Center sector industry.
- Strong working knowledge in design and construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, environmental and LEED applications, team building and client relationship building.
