Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information among team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for project management.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
- Assist in managing project budgets and tracking project expenses, including invoicing.
- Organize and participate in project meetings, taking minutes and following up on action items.
- Help in resolving project-related issues by identifying problems and proposing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Any other project-related tasks assigned by the Project Manager/Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a project coordinator in the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
