Job description:

• ⁠Lead the design, planning and implementation of solar PV projects.
• Liaison between different stakeholders and ensure needs of all stakeholders are met.
• Manage and coordinate project activities, including procurement, selection of vendors/contractors, delivery of equipment , installation, testing and commissioning.
• Provide hands-on support and guidance during on-site construction and installation activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress and equipment schedules, identify and resolve technical issues or challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and certifications for solar PV projects.
• ⁠Prepare and review project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, schedules, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality assurance checks, and performance evaluations to ensure long-term reliability of installed solar PV systems.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Renewable/Clean Energy/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
• Technical knowledge in PV or Electrical.
• Relevant working experience of 1 year and above.
• Dynamic and committed with a proactive working attitude.
• Based in Singapore, accept business trips to Indonesia and other SEA countries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Site and Project Managers on project execution.
• Liaise with consultant, clients and subcontractors on the progress of Electrical work.
• To liaise with consultant, clients on the design of shop drawing.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings.
• Handle and resolve technical and engineering problems.
• Coordinate and liaise with consultant and client to ensure smooth completion of project.
• Other ad-hoc duties when assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification - Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Electrical construction field.
• Good knowledge of Electrical specifications & requirements
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines

PROJECT ENGINEER CUM DRAFTER

1. Responsible for co-ordination of all technical activities on assigned project and assist in ensuring successful completion and execution of the assigned projects.

2. Participate in client or contractor site meetings and inspections to ensure site installation is carried in accordance to the technical specification of the project.

3. Ensure effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and project participants in the projects, to resolve all site issue hindering the work progress.

4. Assist in planning, scheduling and coordination of works and ensure proper deliverables and full compliance to the authority standards.

5. Assist in all project management and coordination activities delegated by project manager; including day-to-day interaction with clients, preparation of project proposals and production coordination.

6. Assist in all project administration where required

7. Report to the Project Manager on any site issues hindering the work progress. For example, report any change of design or architectural plan, incurring addition work to our trade. Highlight those changes that might results omission or variation cost.

8. Report to the Project Manager monthly work progress carried out on site.

Design & Drafting:

1. Prepare and revise technical drawings and construction plans using AUTOCAD software.
2. Ensure all drafts adhere to local building codes, regulations, and project specifications.

• Maintain and update all schedules, collect actual data (progress, manpower and equipment deployment) and evaluate project delays by effective monitoring of actual progress
• Maintain records for all significant events relevant to contractual claims.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering and/or relevant field
• Experience in construction planning and programme for civil work or infrastructure projects.
