Job Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager on project documentation, system entries and ensuring compliance to project management process and best practices.
• Lead and maintain project management systems and tools
• Ensure compliance of project information and documentation in grant and project management systems.
• Consolidate and analyze project data and create project dashboards and reports
• Track and monitor project health
• Support other operational activities of the Project Management Office as required
• Responsible for managing the life cycle R&D projects and product delivery by planning, organizing, executing, and evaluating from conception to completion
• Ensure successful delivery of project scope and targets while managing project risk, quality, delivery, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate and motivate project team members in the design, development, and delivery of R&D solutions to customers.
• Drive design / process validation testing and ensure compliance to project lifecycle governance requirements
• Ability to demonstrate a good level of understanding of technical/engineering processes in managing the project development with the project teams
• Lead, monitor and report the progress of a few projects to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and implement project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables and mitigate risk.

Job Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Have some knowledge in project management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft excel and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for presentation of information in a logical approach
• Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and as a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the testing and commissioning of mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor construction progress, ensuring work is completed according to project timelines and safety regulations.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any technical or construction-related issues that may arise during project execution, coordinating with relevant teams to implement solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of construction progress, equipment testing, and commissioning activities, preparing reports for project managers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure that all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing best practices to promote a safe working environment.
• Support the implementation of environmentally sustainable practices in the construction and operation of the IWMF facility, in alignment with industry standards and regulations.
• Liaise with equipment vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of all required systems and components.
• Support in the training of on-site personnel on new systems and processes, ensuring smooth handover and operational readiness.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• Experience in supervising construction and commissioning processes, with a focus on waste-to-energy or industrial facilities,
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Knowledge of solid waste management is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
• Independent, resourceful, and a good team player with a strong sense of responsibility.

Main Responsibilities:

• Requisition of resources for the projects such as labour, materials, equipment and others.
• Monitor the progress and performance of sub-contractors. Perform project management to ensure that project progresses according to schedule and to take the appropriate corrective action when deviations arises.
• Liaise with customers, consultants, clerks-of-work and statutory authorities on matters concerning the progress of work, acceptance of work, approval of plans, problems faced and others.

• Conduct quality checks on work done by workers.
• Prepare and Control shop drawings & Material Requisition.
• Recommend and execute corrective method for Non-Conformance Performance.
• Prepare Quality Plan.
• Carried out assignment as detailed by the Senior Manager / Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in similar capacity under building/construction/engineering industry
• Have Electrical Background is a must
