About you

You will be responsible for installation of Otis lifts, escalators, and dumbwaiters for assigned projects from commencement to completion including handover to Service. This position reports to the Project Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Safety – Ensure WWJSSS pertaining to construction activities are being adhered to.
• Quality
  • Implements and maintains all ISO 9000 procedures.
  • Regular check to installation quality
  • Coordinate with main contractor, other subcontractors and owner for other works that affects lift installation quality.
  • Arranges for electrical power to be available for testing of lifts.
  • Check the installation to be in line with the construction drawing and technical specifications.
• Supervision of all installation works,
  • Ascertain the actual location of building and study details of the lifts/lift hoist -ways/escalators.
  • Liaises with Main Contractor or Building Owner on delivery and storage of equipment and materials.
  • Ensures that the site structural dimensions correspond with that in the shop drawings.
  • Conducts regular site inspections on quality and safety issues.
  • Monitors progress of construction and plan schedule for installation.
  • Supervise all sub-contractors work at site.  Ensure sub-contractors fulfil their work scope in a timely manner without defects. 
• People Management – Supervises and controls the discipline, morale and performance of subcontractor and installation team.

Your Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher Nitec in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ similar experiences as an Installation Supervisor/Foreman or equivalent.
• Have prior supervisory experiences to manage a team of installers or testers and subcontractors.
• Have strong technical knowledge of installation works of lifts and escalators products.
• Have knowledge of ISO procedures.
• Team player and results-oriented.

ACMV Project Engineer

Job Description:
Assist project manager to oversee overall project progress, manpower and monitor project schedule.
Able to carry out testing & commissioning and basic troubling shooting of the system.
Ensure project complete within the time line.
Day to day site co-ordinations with main con, sub-contractors.
Prepare, plan and request site inspection with main con or RTO.
Ensure the allocation of resources as planned and submit daily work progress and manpower forecast report.
Monitor and request for equipment, material delivery.
Ensure equipment, material and site work compliance to specifications.
Filing and recording of project documentation.
Preparation, submission and obtain approval of MOS, RA, SWP, shop drawings, material, equipment, RFA, RFI etc.
Attend technical meeting, daily site progress meeting and safety meetings.
Preparation of OMM manual, As-Built drawings, training and DLP program.
Knowledge and adherence of WSH, ESH standard.

Requirements:-
ITE/Diploma/ Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2 years' working experience in projects
Good communication and interaction skill.
