Summary:

• Provide support and manage project

• Follow up with clients in timely manner

• Assist sales team with site survey & system design

• Provide onsite support to diagnose and rectify technical issue

• Outline budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.

• Prepare detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.

• Manage delivery of the project according to project plan.

• Track project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.

• Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget.

• Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.

Additional Information:

• Relevant educational qualifications in Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology

• At least 1 year experience in handling software projects

• Good understanding of programming , new technology trends / applications etc and with .basic cybersecurity & network knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position involves a combination of technical expertise, project management, to support and drive sales. Acts as a crucial link between the technical and commercial aspects of projects, the Project Proposal Engineer ensures customer satisfaction and successful handover to the Project Execution team.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborative Sales Approach

 Partner closely with all stakeholders to serve customers effectively and meet team sales targets.

Proposal & Quotation Preparation

 Analyze requests for proposals to understand project scope, technical requirements and customer expectations.

 Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies in proposals.

Customer Engagement and Technical Assistance

 Handle inquiries via various communication channels, provide technical assistance and advice, follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, close orders, and maintain customer relationships.

Cross-Department Coordination

 Work with Sales teams, Service, Finance and Supply Chain departments to gather necessary input for quotations and proposals.

Additional Responsibilities

 Perform any other tasks required by the Company to support its business strategy.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

 Diploma or Degree in Control/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

 At least 3 years’ experience in Instrumentation and Automation/Control Engineering

 Relevant Technical knowledge (Would be an advantage)

 Systematic and meticulous

 Strong ability to work effectively within a team environment.

 Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Description

• Execute a project effectively once a project order is received
• Have a complete understanding of the requirements of the project and the delivery schedule
• Liaise with the purchasing team with regard to the procurement of the items
• Work with various departments to problem solve and mitigate arising issues such as facilitating changes in project requirements in terms of products or the delivery schedule.
• Handle the billing for each project in an accurate manner
• Maintain excellent control of inventory to facilitate timely shipment and delivery, thereby maximizing customer satisfaction and minimizing cost;
• Plan, scheduled as well and coordinated materials availability to meet customer requirements
• Engage in regular meetings with internal departments to review project, production, and procurement updates
• Other related duties as required by HOD/ Management

Requirements

• Recognised Diploma or Degree in any field
• Preferably 2 years experience in a related customer-facing field (Eg, Customer Service, Order Processing, Sales Coordination, etc)
• Working knowledge and experience in SAP system preferred but not a must
• Able to analyze information quickly and accurately
• Excellent planning, communication and problem-solving skills with an eye for details;
• Customer service-oriented and result-driven with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
