I- Basic Function/General Scope of Work

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in private building projects. They are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to manage overall construction sequence, micro schedule and procurement schedules for tender.

Job Description:

• Coordinate with various managers for planning and execution of construction works.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, master construction schedules, micro schedule and procurement schedules.
• Manager and review correspondences to various parties including clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities.
• Monitor critical points within the schedules, to ensure that material deliveries, drawing are conducted in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with team member to ensure that the project is carried out according to schedule.
• Responsible for planning and organizing schedules resource loading and leveling, micro planning and monitoring
• Develop the overall schedule using Primavera (P6) to monitor the progress, and prepare the procurement schedule, construction schedule and engineering schedule
• Resource and cost loading for the project
• Prepare of work format. Critical path identification
• Prepare histograms, tables, S-curves, resources logs
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress report for client submission

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management / Civil Engineering / equivalent
• Possesses at least 5 years of project planning experience and experienced with Primavera 6 software
• Well-versed in the sequence of works and authority requirements.
• Proficient in planning works and material schedule
• Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
• Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Building, Road & Structure Inspection & Maintenance
· The Project Engineer is reporting to the Project Manager / Supervisor.
· Handling technical and engineering issues.

· Report and prepare with given report template for the inspection outcome.
· Ensure safe work procedures are implemented at site.
· Ensure projects meet authority standards.
· Other Ad-hoc related duties assigned by the company

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· At least 1 years of related work
· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
· Possess positive, responsible and self-motivated attitude
· Able to work in a team

· 5 days work, flexible working time

1. Able to communicate and have good writing skill in English
