The Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, execution, and management of rail projects. This role ensures the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards while ensuring safety and compliance with applicable regulations.

Job Description

• Develop and review project plans, designs, and specifications for railway systems, including SCADA, COMMS, signalling, electrical systems, and civil works.
• Familiar with construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Resolve technical and operational challenges during project implementation.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, government authorities, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including system interface design document, site construction drawing, technical specifications.

Key Qualifications

Education:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in railway or infrastructure project engineering.

Job Description:

• Project execution for water and wastewater treatment system projects: desalination plants, sewage treatment plant, industrial water and wastewater treatment plant.
• Develop detailed design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and basic design.
• Review project specification to ensure company design complies with customer specifications.
• Prepare equipment datasheets (equipment data sheets, valve lists, equipment list, piping schedule, etc).

Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer shall report to the Project Manager or the Head of Department for Project Management and Site Integration. The Project Engineer shall be responsible for the project assigned by carrying out the following:

• Coordinate with project team members in achieving the project targets (technically and commercially) set by the management.
• Execute the project plan within schedule, budget and resources.
• Coordinate with project team members, stakeholders, vendors, sub-contractors, and customers.
• Report project status to the project manager or steering committee
• Implement activities in the project execution phase according to the BEUMER Group Management System (BGMS).

• Attending project meetings with project team members, customers, consultants, sub-suppliers, etc. in achieving the targeted project plan.

 GENERAL FUNCTION 

• Responsible for producing engineering specification, liaising closely with design department, procurement and site; and executing project schedule, targets and plan in compliance with the clients' contract, in a safe manner meeting both cost and schedule requirements.

Technical

• Draft PMP, including project schedule, strategy etc under the instruction and guidance from PM
• Monitor the work progress according to schedule and take all necessary actions in the event of any delay
• Manage and deal with non-compliance issues and propose preventive and corrective measures

• Develop display components (display panels, touch sensors, cover glass, etc.) in Automotive products (digital clusters, display solutions, and head-up displays).
• Development includes technical requirements definition, concept creation, architecture design, deviation review and negotiation with supplier, design review, performance evaluation/optimization, specification creation, failure analysis and support part qualification till mass production.
• Define, align and track display components’ development milestones & schedule, and budget to ensure deliveries to customers.
• Manage and lead in display component-related technical discussion with suppliers and internal project team members.
• Prepare engineering documentation, specifications and reports.
• Follow both project implementation and quality management rules in realization of the display components.
• Develop new display / touch panel technologies in preparation for application in future Automotive products.
