Job Description

The Project Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient and timely construction of Structural works. The incumbent is required to perform the tasks that includes, but not limited, to the following: -

• Work out MTO for the respective Projects and hand over to the material coordinator for follow up with the procurement of materials
• Maintain and upkeep the remnant material records for final reconciliation of materials
• Liaise with Project Lead/Superintendent to get knowledge of the project schedules

• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
• Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site
• Supervise installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site by supervisor /client

Job Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in project/construction environment
• Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work
• Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills
• Required to have at least 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover construction experience

· Assist in the preparation and support of proposals and bids for energy-related projects, showcasing your understanding of industry requirements and best practices.

· Take on project management responsibilities for energy initiatives, including power generation, heat recovery, and waste recovery, ensuring successful execution within defined timelines and budgets.

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and clients, to ensure seamless integration and exceptional project outcomes.

· Stay up-to-date with advancements in sustainable energy technologies, particularly in hydrogen and fuel cells, and contribute to their integration into our energy solutions.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Thermodynamics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees will be considered an advantage.

· Proficiency in thermodynamic engineering calculations, with a strong understanding of various power generation, energy recovery and new energy technologies

· Proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and supporting proposals and bids for energy-related projects.

· Strong project management skills, demonstrating the ability to coordinate and oversee energy initiatives effectively.

· Familiarity with sustainable energy technologies, particularly in hydrogen generation and fuel cells, is highly desirable.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
