PROJECT ENGINEER (WTW System)

SALARY: $7000 - $9000

Working hours:

• 5 days work week
• Mondays to Fridays: 8:30am to 5.30pm
• Transport: We have company bus departing near Clementi MRT station at 8.10am to bring staff to our office and a return company bus trip back to Clementi in the evening

»» Qualification: Degree in Mechatronic or equivalent

Requirements:

• Min 5 years working experience in Marine Industry or shipyard environment
• Good understanding of deck machinery such as winch, crane, lifting and handling equipment and the related IACS (particular ABS, DNV, BV) rules and regulations.
• Added advantage with specific experience in WTW system (Offshore Passenger Transfer System)
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulic and electrical system and P&ID with ability to perform trouble shooting
• Software – able to use MS Office, MS Powerpoint, MS Project, Adobe and AUTOCAD. Ability to use Primavera scheduling software an added advantage
• Good understanding of Document Control
• Added advantage with knowledge of ISO9001:2015 QAM system
• Candidate must be willing to travel and work in marine and offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Project Director / Manager in Charged of the WTW system
• Project Support: Provide technical expertise to oversee the design, development and construction of the WTW system
• Interface with WTW system designer, vendors, fabricators including drawings reviews, sourcing equipment, cost control and monitoring
• Project Execution: Oversee project implementation, vendors sourcing and recommendation, purchase/ cost evaluation, resources allocation, attend to inquiries, clarifying technical details, supervising project execution, implementing corrective actions, conducting Factory Acceptance Tests, and finalizing documentation
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in-deck machinery using technical manuals, hand tools, and power tools
• Record Keeping: Meticulously maintain records of all changes, maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Develop operating, maintenance and safety procedures for the WTW system

Summary

The Project coordinator will function as the administative support to the Projet Manager and the project team. The coordinator will become the point of reference and contact. Assigned to keep schedule, documents and information.

Responsibilities

· To coordinating the project team by managing the filing of important documents, maintaining important data such as storing and sorting of sales function related data in electronic form, and communicating relevant information for smooth sales operations.

· To support project scopes and to review technical drawings and address technical discrepancies with clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth project proposals and execution.

· To support project progression, forecast costs, and coordinate resource allocation and planning.

· To support project team to oversee daily site operations and participate in meetings with subcontractors and technical teams to verify compliance with project specifications and timelines.

· To support the Project Manager by coordinating with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project objectives are met.

· To facilitate regular meetings with project team member to review progress and address issues.

· To maintain standards for project monitoring, including design, construction timelines, cost control, and information systems.

JOB SCOPE:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide domain expertise & focus in payment/securities domain.
• Propose alternative solutions and technologies to improve and bring about high-quality system solutions.
• Ensure that the resulting IT solution meets the needs of the defined business requirements.
• Plan and lead requirement gathering and design.
• Clarify requirement and manage scope against baseline.
• Participate in developing and reviewing Functional Specifications/Use Cases
• Participate in developing test plan, reviewing Test Specifications and test results.
• Lead testing team to conduct test plan and when required, conduct the testing together with team.
• Provide domain/functional guidance to software engineers in delivering in accordance to requirement
• Lead and co-ordinate various testing phases, managing internal and external stakeholders.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in implementing (from start to finish) at least one of the following transaction processing platforms for multiple countries or markets (preferably ASEAN, AU, HK):
  o domestic payment system
  o cross border payment system
  o securities middle / back-office system (for post trade, settlement and custody)
• Hands-on experience in handling ISO 20022 message standards for payment (PACS), cash management (CAMT) and securities (SESE, SEEV, SEMT)
• Familiar with payment business lifecycles – from initiation, to clearin
• settlement, accounting and reporting (advice and statement.
• Familiar with government securities business lifecycles – from issuance, auction, allotment, settlement (primary and secondary markets), collateral management, repo, re-issuance, corporate actions, redemption (full or partial)
• Demonstratable traits in business analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Demonstratable track record in solutioning for transaction processing systems
• Articulate in thought process and oral/written communication
• Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to produce specifications for documentations and implementations.
• Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
