IT Project Manager
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of IT Project Manager within Information Technology Department.
The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic team that is in-charge of the data warehousing and local regulatory reporting systems.
These are crucial systems to ensure business users will be able to meet the reporting requirements by the regulator.
You will be expected to play an important role in ensuring good quality, timely delivery of the system solutions with primary assignment of planning, organizing and implementing the team’s technical projects.
· Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and project execution
· Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget, adheres to high quality standards and meets user expectations
· Plans out the blueprints for the project, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and defining testing strategy
· Assemble and leads the project team by directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
· Creates the project budget and ensures the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible
· Oversees consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion
· Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plan and/or resources to meet the needs of internal customers
· Coordinates communication with all stakeholders on project scope, budget, schedule and risks
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
· Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required
· At least 10 years IT work experience, with at least 8 years in managing projects
· Experience with implementation of regulatory-related systems preferred
· Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
· Experience in working with many stakeholders from different teams (business users, infrastructure, risk management, etc.)
· Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Ability to quickly pick up and undertake necessary steps to fulfil internal procedures/processes in accordance with compliance and governance framework
· Experience in Financial and Banking industry preferred
