The division also serves as the Secretariat of the MAS Board and the Appeal Advisory Panel (AAP).

• Board secretariat:  Lead on, inter alia, organising the quarterly Board meetings, handling the appointments of Board members, and reviewing board governance policies and processes, such as code of conduct, remuneration and conflict of interest matters.

• AAP secretariat:  On appeals, any person aggrieved by an administrative decision by the MAS can appeal to the Minister-in-charge of MAS.
