[What you will be working on]

The Organisation Development and Planning Division (ODP) is responsible for driving long-term organisational effectiveness in MAS. Drawing from various disciplines and fields, ODP comprises dynamic individuals with competencies across culture and leadership development, change management and internal communications, behavioural sciences, and corporate planning. The division also serves as the Secretariat of the MAS Board and the Appeal Advisory Panel (AAP).

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the MAS Board, Appeal and Corporate Planning portfolios:

• Board secretariat:  Lead on, inter alia, organising the quarterly Board meetings, handling the appointments of Board members, and reviewing board governance policies and processes, such as code of conduct, remuneration and conflict of interest matters.

You will also be responsible for strengthening corporate governance and ensuring organisation excellence within MAS.

Job summary:

Reporting to the Project Management Office (PMO) leader, the Senior Project Manager plays an important role in ensuring timely project delivery within the PMO. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of the projects assigned and serves as the single point of contact towards end customer. Proven Project Managers may move on to take senior roles within the PMO where he or she can expect to handle projects of larger scale and complexity and provide mentorship to junior Project Managers.

1.0 Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the start-to-finish delivery of projects

· Responsible for delivery of projects of a high quality, within budget and according to agreed schedule and users requirements

· Drive alignment and prioritization of tasks/scope in a fast-paced and large-scale projects with many inter-dependencies.

· Lead and ensure other sub-projects are well planned, to ensure timely and in-budget execution of activities against plans

· Monitor resource utilization to facilitate planning & scheduling of resources

· Ability to demonstrate experience in managing diverse groups of stakeholders.

· Identify, assess and manage the risks of the project and take appropriate mitigation actions

· Manage project scope creep and mitigate it when it occurs, manage changes in users requirements according to Change Control processes, schedule slippage, technical problems and shortages of resources

· Facilitate escalation processes in support of defined project scope

· Ensures timely submission of reports for projects

· Work closely with clients to ensure timely closure of contractual milestone for billing

· Attention to details is a must, coupled with a “can-do" attitude.

2.0 Required Qualifications:

- Essential

· A minimum of 8 years in IT Project Management (preferably mid to large scale ICT projects)

· Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science or related

· Technically competent with strong knowledge of networking, cloud and security systems.

· IT and Project Management Certifications – PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL v4, CITPM, PMI-ACP
