Principle Consultant, Focused on Business and IT Transformation Solution Portfolio
Responsibilities Include:
- Advise customers as needed on SAG solution, specifically around Business and IT Transformation (BT/ IT) portfolio, which includes technical and functional reviews, proof-of-concept development and showcase, product demonstrations and feature rationalization.
- Build trusted long-term relationships with customers
- Understand customers’ business, needs, challenges and expectations
- Proactively consult customers on ways to optimize their digital strategy
- Deliver high client satisfaction
- Develop an array of product knowledge of all SAG products within the BT/IT portfolio to drive consultative approach for customer solutioning
- Adopt and employ SAG's presales team best practices with agile methodology
- Use the principles of client value engagement to create individual value proposition
- Respond to RFI/RFPs
- Provide product feedback from customers to Engineering team/ Product Managers
- Communicate competitive intelligence from the field
- Exchange best practices and share knowledge within PreSales Community
- Keep up to date with any new Software AG solutions (especially from the belonging business line) and relevant business value arguments
- Participate on meetings and conferences with customers and partners, sales and other necessary departments
- Work with the sales representative to establish specific account plans and strategies
- Analyze the typical needs of industry domains and understand their specific business models
- Accumulate insight into specific industry domains and translate common industry requirements into client solutions
Skills
- Customer centric and presentation skills : Strong customer-oriented in order to understand customer’s needs. Ability to analyze, write, review, communicate, present and translate technical details to customers. Present SAG vision and solution roadmaps to executive and senior management.
- Business skills : demonstrate a team attitude, delivering on deadlines, developing clear and concise product briefings, eliciting business requirements, mapping business drivers and initiatives to technology offering and differentiators. Ability to translate Business requirements into capabilities that can be delivered by SAG solutions and qualify how this can provide business benefit and value.
- Technical skills : has technical background, cloud experience required for the product/ solution presales engagement. Providing best practices to customers and helping with their IT Strategy and implementation planning;
- Value positioning expertise within solution space: (e.g.: process management, process mining, enterprise architecture, IT portfolio management).
