Roles & Responsibilities
· Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective working relationship with contract manufacturers acting as the key point of contact for operational issues.

· Capacity/Production Planning: Coordinate with internal teams and contract manufacturers on production schedules.

· Qualification: Implement stringent qualification plan to ensure quality standards are met.

· Quality Assurance: Work with internal stakeholders to implement quality control processes and ensure that contract manufacturers adhere to quality, safety, trade, legal and regulatory compliance requirements.

· Operational & Engineering Support: Support production in troubleshooting and resolution of issues. Liaise with Internal Manufacturing to support engineering issues in production, improve process efficiencies to enhance productivity.

· Continuous Improvement: Support contract manufacturers on validating and implementing improvement ideas.

· Negotiation: Effective negotiation with contract manufacturers to achieve cost optimization and delivery needs.

· Performance Management: Track the operational performance of contract manufacturers and escalation of operational issues.

Project Management: Coordinate projects to ensure progress and desired outcomes. Escalate and mitigate business critical risks

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering or a related field.

· Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in External and Contract Manufacturing (operations, quality,

technology and planning) as well as in R&D Industrial/Equipment Automation.

· Proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, PCB Engineering drawing and BOM list.

· Good project management skills.

· Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· A good team player and collaborates effectively with others.

· Possess an analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintains relationships with CM partners. Key point of contact for any operational issues by CMs at working team level.

• Capacity / Production Planning: Coordinate with internal teams and CMs on production schedules. Align S&OP plans between ASMPT & CM; collaborate to de-escalate supply risks.
• Qualification: Together with CM managers, implement stringent qualification plan with QA for CMs to ensure CMs meet ASMPT’s standards (training, copy-exact transfer, FAI and PPAP).
• Quality Assurance: Execute quality control processes with QA and ensure CMs’ adhere to strict quality, safety, trade, legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Operational & Engineering Support: Support production line issue troubleshooting & resolution (e.g., CM late delivery) and coordinate with technical leads for change requests review. Liaise with Internal Manufacturing to support engineering issues in production, improve process efficiencies to gain productivity.
• Continuous Improvement: Support CMs on validating and implementing improvement ideas.
• Contract Manufacturer Negotiations: Prepare materials to support negotiation with CM to achieve best optimal cost & deliver business needs (e.g., supply capacity, pricing structure, quality etc.)
• Performance Management: Track CM’s operational performance regularly via operational KPIs. Escalate any operational issues to CM manager.
• Project Management: Coordinate across various internal and external stakeholders to align and progress per plan to achieve the desired outcomes. Escalate and mitigate business critical risks. Support CM Manager to implement project plan and ensure progress is on track.

Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s) in supply chain management, engineering or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in commercial / business and manufacturing (operations, quality, technology, planning) function required.
• Experience in External & Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Process & Quality Management.
• Proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Drawings as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities, able to coordinate and facilitate across various internal and external functions to achieve the desired outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills; mature, pleasant, and highly energetic personality.
• Analytical mindset with ability to make data-driven decisions and problem solve.
• Willingness to travel within SEA, East Asia to visit CMs and any other countries as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage our ASMPT's semiconductor machine manufacturing and mold chase manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, minimize downtime, and maximize throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in mold chase methodologies.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of manufacturing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality control measures.

Qualifications:

• Min. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of at least 8 years in a leadership role within manufacturing, specifically in mold chase operations.
• Strong understanding of mold chase processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Supplier Relationship Management: Is the Go-To person for any new business evaluations, develops and sustains relationships with the contract manufacturers.

• Contract Manufacturer Selection: Source and evaluate potential contract manufacturers based on their capabilities, capacity, cost competitiveness and alignment with ASMPT’s strategic objectives.

• Contract Negotiations: Prepare and negotiate strategic vendor contracts for long term partnership to deliver business needs (e.g., capacity assurance, pricing, quality, inventory etc.)

• Capacity / Production Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional ASMPT S&OP teams and CMs to develop production schedules that meet inventory, lead-time, and delivery requirements. Align S&OP plans between ASMPT & CM; collaborate to de-escalate capacity or supply risks if any. Plan for provisions in CM capacity surge to support ramp cycles.
• Qualification: Establish stringent qualification plan with QA for CMs to ensure CMs meet ASMPT’s standards (training, copy-exact transfer, FAI and PPAP).
• Quality Assurance: Establish quality control processes with QA and ensure CMs’ adhere to strict quality, safety, trade, legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Performance Management: Establish & implement KPIs and metrics to assess the performance of CMs, regularly reviewing performance, taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Continuous Improvement: Track production unit costs, support CMs on process and cost efficiency improvements while maintaining high quality standards.
• Change Management: Advocate clear change management process to govern, track and qualify all changes made to the form, fit and function of the product.
• Project Management: Coordinate across various internal and external stakeholders to align and progress per plan to achieve the desired outcomes. Escalate and mitigate business critical risks.
• Industry Knowledge: Stays abreast with industry and policy changes and identifies implications and opportunities for his/her area of contract manufacturing.
• Business Planning: Participates in annual business planning process, provides monthly estimated actual on projected and actual spending, maintains a multiyear capital plan/budget.

Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s) in supply chain mgmt., engineering, business, or related fields
• >10 years of experience in commercial/business AND manufacturing (ops, quality, technology, planning) function required. Proven leadership experience in leading technical/resident engineers
• Experience in External and Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Processes & Quality Management. Proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Drawings is a plus.
• Experience in capital equipment contract manufacturing highly desirable, particularly dealing with contract management, operation/delivery management and quality management.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
