Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

· Plan weekly production schedules including releasing work orders and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments based on customer requirements.

· Collaborate with other departments, include purchasing, engineering and logistics, to work on outsourcing cost, equipment maintenance schedule and delivery arrangement.

· Create and Maintain Production schedules to ensure company goals are achieved and that deadlines are met.

· monitors and co-ordinates timely arrival of goods to meet project timeline

· liaises with project and production departments for all material planning matters.

· Liaise with External vendor on any outsource jobs, monitor jobs ensure it met the required delivery.

Requirements:

· Diploma in Business/Production management or equivalent experience.

· Able to work in dynamic environment and equipped with Multitasking skills.

· Possess Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Supervise: Delivery and Input Planners

Functional Relationships with Production, Sales, and Logistic groups to meet company goals and customer requirements

POSITION PROFILE:

The successful candidate will:

Work as a production planner while learning aspects of delivery and database management and considering ways to improve overall work efficiency

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

• The Production Planning Executive manages and executes the production plan and daily input scheduling to fulfill customer requirements.
• Adjust and prepare 4M (Man/Machine/Material/Method) with stakeholders in advance, manage the plan's progress, and analyze the production index to optimize production and inventory control.
• Work closely with delivery control & material control members and the production division to prepare the necessary resources.
• Control input & output to have an optimum stock level and satisfy customer delivery requests.
• Work on process troubleshooting and improvement to prevent stoppages or minimal interruption to production schedule and capability up.
• Maintain a production control system to ensure smooth & efficient operation.
• Identify problems and opportunities for business process improvement solutions.
• Address internal and external issues effectively and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Ability / Competency Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in the manufacturing industry.

Job Description:

1. Assist the Factory Manager and Operations Manager to oversee the daily factory operations.

2. Fit up experience and ability to study drawings is required.

3. Provide and ensure the work instructions are executed properly by the workers.

4. Plan daily work to optimize utilization of tools, equipment, materials and labour.

5. Assist the QC Inspector to perform "In-Process QC Checking"

6. Ensure the workmanship is of acceptable quality.

7. Monitor progress and ensure that all works are carried out according to planned schedule.

8. Monitor and report work progress & any problems encountered to the Assistant Operations Manager/Production Engineer.

9. Monitor the material inventory list and record material usage & movement.

10. Check and ensure that sufficient materials are provided for fabrication works.

11. Assist the Operations Manager/Production Engineer to train production workers so that they are capable to perform assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.

12. Assist the Planner to perform material take-off for procurement and prepare/produce cutting plans for plate sections.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.

The Senior Product Executive primarily works with the principals and internal teams to support the strategic context for the company’s products. He/she will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle to ensure both profit margin and principal’s goals are met.
