Educates and demonstrates the benefits of key products to clinical professors, teaching-hospital faculty, residents, and students. Provides medical information to internal/external health sources such as the sales force, outside health professions, public, and government. Explores and identifies sites for clinical trial in all stages of development. Coordinates continuing education workshops, seminars, and programs for graduate physicians, pharmacists, and scientists. Responds to unsolicited inquiries to establish and/or further the knowledge and understanding of marketed products and related topics.
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent. The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 4 or more years experience.

• Support program development with guidance from others
• Maintain collaboration with broader Medical Education/product marketing/sales training, etc
• Lead Medical Education program coordination, logistics and content delivery
• Organize in-class or virtual courses
• Identify what we want to measure/track and most appropriate method
• Understand our Medical Education and business strategy
• Provide input to future plans
• Assist in defining business metrics
• Provide data and input to plan
• Understand KOLs profile and starts networking
• Understand and provide input to training and Medical Education workstreams
• Gain expertise in Medical Education programs and adapt programs with customer’s needs
• Understand the different communication channel strategies
• Partner with Marketing Communications to develop communications plan
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years of work experience required
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
• MBA preferred
• 2+ years medical device or Medical Education experience preferred
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
• Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
• Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
