Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations and Account Servicing Executive to join our team and help expand our events portfolio. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of events and ensuring exceptional service to clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with both clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive in handling operational tasks and committed to maintaining high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage event logistics, timelines, and budgets, ensuring smooth execution. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, monitor event setup and breakdown, and resolve any on-site issues for successful outcomes.
Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring needs are met and issues resolved. Maintain strong relationships, provide regular updates, gather feedback, and collaborate with teams to deliver on client requirements.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive business growth.
Keep accurate records of event details and client communications, manage invoices and reports, track expenses, and assist the sales team with proposals and presentations.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and expand our business network.
Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback. Use data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Propose process enhancements, stay updated on industry trends, and participate in post-event reviews to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Requirements & Skills:
1. Education:
- Diploma or degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Operations & Account Servicing industry.
- Proven experience in operations or a similar role within the events industry.
- Strong network within the events industry and a track record of successful client acquisition and relationship management.
3. Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
