Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate assigned processing and/or packaging equipment according to the SOP, guides and manual
• Render correct cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment following Good Manufacturing practices
• Conduct checking and inspection of materials to ensure it meets specifications for processing and production of salts and dry part concentrates
• Prepare raw materials according to the plan and quality specifications
• Perform SAP applications for transacting process order, good receipt and inventory
• Operate the system manually or with the aid of basic process automation
• Perform Basic Equipment Care, troubleshooting and maintenance of the assigned machine to minimize inefficiency
• Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Site System and ensure that a high standard of Health and Safety is always adhered to on site

Requirements

• Manages the preparation of initial and ongoing estimates of the engineering hours, and costs, including materials, labor, design, and supervision
• Monitors engineering cost expenditure against estimates and reports cost position to the Project Manager on a regular basis
• Management of internal and external design and technical resources during the Front end stages
• Ensure clean room design, warehouse etc. and other associated regulatory requirements are in place in the overall design.
• Ensure overall GSK standards and required pharmaceutical requirements are integrated in the overall laboratory design.
• Collaborate design, project and construction alignment with muti-function stakeholders and project team to ensure clear communication on design process, intent, milestones and decision.
• Collaborate and manages design to ensure successful decanting construction process for brownfield project.
• Managing procurement packages for project executions.
• Assist in overall coordination with design team, project team, construction management and internal user team to ensure successful completion and handover of the project. This will include initiating and executing internal GSK procedures for overall site execution works as required.
• Managing and involved in site permit during construction works executions.
• Managing execution of IOQ and coordinate with Quality Representative, Construction Manager, and Contractor Representatives and involved in associated records and sign-off.
• Familiarity to local building codes is a must and pharmaceutical requirements will be a plus point.
  

2. Supports the Project Manager in scope development activities and to support Project Management Framework (PMF) requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• 5-10 years’ experience on Architectural, civil & structure related project within biopharma industry and personally involved in several multi-disciplines’ coordination works for both Green field and Brown field projects from scratch to completion.
• Must know how to drive project teams across different departments
• Good knowledge in GMP requirement
• Knowledgeable in permit application, design requirement for QC Lab/process development lab

Purpose:

To assist Project Manager in the delivery of Project Investment Plan (PIP) objectives in the following areas:

• Delivering site business benefits through implementation of major capital projects (>£10m). This encompass leading a group of multi-disciplinary professionals from inception of the project to the realization of business benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead / coordinate a team of multi-disciplinary and multi-functional professionals including engineers, designers, validation engineers, document controller, external contractors, safety & GMP professional and users to ensure capital projects delivery from inception to benefit realization
• Lead the commissioning and qualification execution as per the Project Plan
• Establishes and facilitates the Risk Management strategy including Risk Register, Assessment, Analysis and Contingency Management for the project and documents it in the Project Plan
• Manage and execute projects in compliance with Safety & Quality standards
• Manage and execute capital project implementation in accordance to the Global Capital Project Control Framework throughout the project life cycle and in accordance with local government legislation
• Support the Design Lead to ensure capital facility that meets user requirements in terms of facility’s operability and maintainability in accordance with User Requirement Specification (URS), GSK standard engineering practices and Global Engineering Standards (mandatory).
• Review recommended vendor selection list and submit to Project Manager for endorsement, as well as the approval of technical blueprints for construction works.
• Support Project Manager in coordination, scheduling and reporting of activities related to stakeholder management and, business change management including project communications
• Support Project Manager in the selection of contractors and suppliers and subsequent discharge of their responsibilities in accordance with the contract/purchase order
• Establishes and maintains Project documentation and records and facilitates handover of final project documentation in accordance with customer requirements.
• Support Project Manager to achieve both LEED and Green Mark certification and defined targets

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Professional

• Minimum Degree in any engineering discipline
• Minimum 8 years of working experience as Senior Project Engineer position

Purpose

The Senior QA Validation is responsible for providing quality input and oversight on the following areas during the new product introduction to Singapore Tuas site.

• Design, construction, commissioning and qualification of new facility, equipment technology and system

You are expected to partner with all project members to anticipate, prepare and meet project deliverables on all phases of the project.

As a Senior QA Validation, he/ she represents the project team and point of contact on project quality matters related to equipment and material related activities. He/ she establishes effective working relationship with quality functions of supplier for facility, equipment, systems and material commissioning and qualification, global QA in GSK Vaccines and local site QA in Tuas.

The Senior QA Validation ensures that all commissioning and qualification activities under the project scope is designed in compliance with all applicable GSK Quality policies, regulatory requirement, and GMP practices/ procedures in place and in use within GSK Tuas.

Responsibilities

General Project Quality Management:

• Ensure quality-by-design in all aspects and stages of the project is in alignment with the defined Project Quality System and Quality Plan
• Accountable for quality inputs and ensure compliance to regulatory requirement, QMS, VSOPs and local procedures throughout the project lifecycle with regards to qualification and validation
• Deploys the appropriate project documentation through the project lifecycle.
• Identify and anticipate potential quality issue during the course of the project execution and avoid / minimize disruption to operations and compliance of GMPs.
• Execute quality compliance gap assessment exercises at appropriate stage of the project lifecycle.
• Ensure proper ties-in strategies and solutions between new facility and existing GMP areas to avoid / minimize disruptions to routine GMP operations.

Facility, Equipment, System Design, Development and Qualification :

• Define commissioning and validation approach and ensure deliverables are met per commissioning and validation plan to achieve validation status of the facility, equipment, technology and system.
• As an oversight of the validation activities, ensure all commissioning and validation requirement are met.
• Ensure timely completion of validation activities as per project schedule.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Min degree in chemistry, science or engineering
• Min 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Min 2 years of experience in commissioning & system validation
