Accountable for handling & executing Electrical related works for:

• Preventive Maintenance
• Corrective Maintenance
• Reactive Maintenance
• Ad-hoc jobs

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing the list of works, materials, tools, machineries, and other things to be used.
• Planning of works for the task given.
• Conduct inspection before and after the work.
• Able to communicate with the User
• Communicate closely to Supervisors by updating the works such as before, progress, after or completion of works on site.
• Hands-on and Key Mechanical experience needed

1. Local wire colour code.

2. Able to perform hands-on troubleshooting on electrical faults & trips (MCB, RCD, RCCB etc).

3. Experience / taken part in Building Electrical Shutdown (annual/planned) and unplanned (genset switch) would be advantageous.

4. Knowledge in cable sizing, local electrical codes and electrical loading.

5. Awareness in electrical hazards & safety

• Routine servicing, repairs and replacement of spares, consumable materials, items and components to all systems and equipment to ensure that they are operational.
• Responsible for any ad hoc duties tasked by direct Supervisor or Management
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the designated Building premises as assigned.
• Documentation of scheduled routine findings and rectification.
• Attend to all work orders issued by the operations and management
• To handle & manage external Specialist contractors awarded jobs on-site.
• To perform any ad hoc tasks as required

Job Requirements

• Educational qualifications with either of the following:

1. Higher NITEC (or equivalent) in relevant FM discipline, with minimum 3 years relevant experience; or

2. NITEC (or equivalent) in relevant FM discipline, with minimum 5 years relevant experience; or

3. Minimum SEC (Skill Evaluation Certification) of relevant FM discipline accredited by BCA, with minimum 5 years relevant experience; or

4. Minimum 10 years of experience. Able to work in hospital setting

• Able to work in hospital setting.
• Able to commit to 5.5 work week with staggered rest days implemented due to operational requirements.
• Able to work Overtime as and when operational requirements or work urgency entails.

The Building Technician is responsible for the following key areas:

• Knowledge in repairing of door accessories and hardware, painting works, carpentry.

Reporting to Hub Engineering Manager, the Facility Technician supports M&E Facility Management Works of the premises.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for status and alarms.
• Attend to the fault equipment alarm for verification.
• Call to vendor for emergency checking if necessary and report status to the team.
• Routine site patrol for M&E systems and direct vendor for work during their visit.
• Ensure all SLA between external vendors/suppliers and ISS or customer are met.
• Assist in coordinating and executing various types of improvement works eg A&A, renovation, defect rectifications and etc.
• Self deliver on monthly light M&E testing and servicing such as FCU filter and drainage pipe cleaning, Genset start up & Chillers Start up.
• Assist Facility team to manage all facility related matters as well as meeting the expectations of customers and users, ensure that all the services provided excel in performance standards and meet all customers’ expectations
• Facilitate effective and timely communication among ISS, customers and users for all events and projects eg Townhall, meeting.
• Catalogue and keep track of customers’ property such as M&E assets.
• Monitor all general supervision and control of organized events and comply with the Health, Safety & Environment regulations, practices, procedures and welfare of the people.
• Ensure timely & accurate submission of all M&E management reports required by ISS and customers.
• Ensure the image of the contract reflects the professional image of the Company at all times.
• Assist to monitor suppliers to ensure best value obtained. Ensure monthly invoices are submitted and processed on time.
• Take all the necessary actions and precautions to ensure there is no employment of illegal foreign workers on site at all times.
• Inform Service Delivery Manager or Hub Engineering Manager of any operational or financial possible liabilities or risks arising from our services.
• Develop programmes to improve service quality processes, procedures and outcomes.
• Undertake any duties/projects, etc. as and instructed by the Superior.

Job Requirements:

• Singaporeans only
• Minimum education GCE O Levels or NITEC and above
• Able to commit to 12-hour rotating shift
• At least 2-years experience of facility/engineering technician or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Good communication skills in English (spoken & written)
• Good working knowledge of building M&E system such as electrical system, MVAC system, fire system, P&D system and BMS is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Applicants with the following experience/certificate are highly desired:

• 2-year experience working in data centre or bank environment
• M&E related certificates
• Certificate of Managing Work-At-Height Course
• Certificate of Develop A Risk Management Implementation Plan (BizSAFE Level 2)

Work Location and details:

• Location: Marina Bay Financial Centre
• Work Hours: 4 days work week, weekly 12-hour rotating shift including weekend & PH
• A Shift: 7.30am to 7.30pm
• B Shift: 7.30pm to 7.30am
