3. Verify repair quotations from vendors on prime movers and company’s vehicles
4. Conduct inspections on vendors sites to ensure repairs works are completed timely and meet our satisfaction expectations
5. Ensure staff is equipped with relevant skills, knowledge and certifications to perform necessary work.
6. Ensure timely completion of work as per target set by management.
7. Work closely with Transport department to ensure trailers and prime movers are in time for LTA inspection
8. Work closely with Procurement department to control inventory availability and cost.
9. Prepare statistics and reports to review performance and make recommendations on operational and procedural enhancement / improvement
10. Attend to drivers’ feedback / call and recommend next course of action
11. Ensure supply of safety kits/ PPE to staff and ensure adherence to safety regulations and safe work practices
12. Ensure availability of tools, material, spare parts and proper upkeep of inventory and assets
13. Ensure cleanliness of work premises and ensure good housekeeping for a cleaner workplace.
14. Ensure quality through supervision of work and stage inspections
15. Verification of timely and proper opening and closing of job cards
16. Adhere to statutory/ company’s safety and health policies, procedures and regulations
17. Assist HOD and Management in any work assigned
18. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Requirements:

1. Diploma holder in mechanical engineering or related field
2. Possess Class 3 driving licence.
3. At least 5 years of technical experience in automotive industry, preferably in heavy/ commercial vehicles
4. Strong technical competence and experience in prime mover and trailer
5. Good interpersonal skills and goal oriented
6. Able to handle stress and work within a tight schedule

• Project Management

  • Ensure proper project management from project charter to closure
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  Facilities Management

  • Manage the overall services provided and ensure the highest level of efficiency of facilities by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services. Including writing of work scope & specification requirements as needed for tender.
  • Oversee and schedule preventive maintenance to mitigate risks and optimize the lifelong cost of equipment.
  • Budget and plan for purchasing services and facilities as needed for new and current projects and maintenance.
  • Propose and schedule a maintenance plan to ensure that facilities are in good order.
  • Maintain and ensure high customer satisfaction level and peace of mind for elderly clients, stakeholders and the public.
  • Review, propose and plan for energy efficiency usage and reduction of overall waste in facilities.
  • Manage and oversee projects to ensure safety standards and upkeep of regulatory or compliance standards for new and current facilities.
  • Monitor the facility upkeep, guarantee safety and quality, and prepare and present reports on the quality of facilities.
  • Conduct full field and environmental audits periodically and present reports to business units.

Job Scope

• Responsible for providing sterile and serviceable surgical instruments and equipment.

Requirement
