Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. You will be responsible for the maintenance of electronics systems onboard surface vessels and shore facilities. You will work closely with other engineers, Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers to deliver quality maintenance services to our customers. You will have opportunities to be short-listed for participation in short-term overseas attachment and training courses. You will have opportunities to manage maintenance operations at team, or workshop level.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Engineering or equivalent
• Naval related maintenance training certifications would be advantageous
• Good working knowledge and experience working on-board commercial and military vessels on underwater, mechanical / electronics / electrical systems
• Good working knowledge and experience on computer software (words, excel).
• Understanding maintenance regime and basic experience in troubleshooting system till card level
• Able to work well in a team and independently as when required.
• Able to work with challenging customers.
• Able to work outdoors and onboard naval platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and implementing the execution of preventive and corrective programs within schedule in compliance to regulatory standards and requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting/ faut diagnosis/ failure analysis to determine cause of failure for equipment.
• Development of Standard Operating procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) to technicians to develop their competence.
• Develop and perform Risk Assessments to evaluate mitigation measures for all maintenance activities.
• Establish and maintain proper document system to achieve all jobs internally for sharing and audit purposes.
• Assist in identification, planning and reviewing of necessary training needs for mentoring and coaching of maintenance staffs.
• Preparation and write maintenance and spares consumption report.
• Perform other duties as instructed by Management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to relate work with different stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel, Words and Powerpoint
• Able to think and work independently and as a team member in a challenging environment
