What You'll Do:

• Deploy Gravitraps: Set up mosquito traps within HDB estates to help control mosquito populations.
• Maintain Gravitraps: Regularly check and maintain Gravitraps to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Manage Supplies: Handle the logistics and inventory of Gravitrap supplies.
• Collect Samples: Assist in collecting mosquito samples and storing them in sample bags.
• Report Issues: Report any faults or damages to Gravitraps to ensure prompt repairs.
• Support Operations: Assist in any other operational matters as needed.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our airport's baggage handling infrastructure. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to providing a seamless travel experience for countless passengers daily.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on the Baggage Handling System (BHS) equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within the BHS system swiftly and effectively.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Proven expertise in maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of industrial equipment, preferably in baggage handling systems or a related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure uninterrupted BHS operation

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers via Phone, Chat, Email and onsite support
• Support handling will be 7x24 and rotating shift is required
• Manage relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor electrical and systems to ensure the functionality
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot technical issues
• Coordinate with other Technical Support team members to escalate cases with unresolved issues to the respective product vendor
• Repair and installation maintenance activities
• Maintain maintenance logs and report daily, weekly and monthly activities
• Ensure that designated systems are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when required
• Work closely with the Integration and Delivery Team to ensure the maintenance crew and himself are trained to work on the systems
• To demonstrate and show an intermediate understanding of how enterprise infrastructure and COTS monitoring tools work
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or any related disciplines.
• 3-5 years experience in a system integration maintenance role
• Strong knowledge and practical hands-on experience in engineering concepts, including electrical, mechanical and enterprise systems setup
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Experience in working maintenance operations, especially ITIL standard
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members and customers
• Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning and decision-making
• Familiar with Singapore Government project’s operational support will be an added advantage
