Responsibilities:
Building Operations
- Conduct regular building inspections, preventive maintenance of building facilities including electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing and sanitary, fire protection system, AV system and to recommend appropriate rectification action to any fault or damages if needed.
- Setting up and operating of all AV equipment in time for services and events.
- Supervision of repair and improvement works by contractors
- To assist in event management.
Building Works & Maintenance
- attending to complaints/requests and coordinating necessary follow-up actions
- To supervise cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and other service contractors work.
- To carry out minor electrical maintenance (Replacement of light tubes & ballast, wall fan, water heater, switches)
- To carry out minor building repairs (Wall plastering, painting, wall & ceiling, carpark lines and direction arrow, patching of partition, basic cement works)
- To carry out carpentry works (Fabrication of boxes, shelves, trellis, wood panel)
- Perform ironmongery tasks which include replacing locksets for doors and cupboards, installing handles and hinges for windows and doors, and fitting door closers and stoppers.
- To carry out plumbing and sanitation repair works (Replacement of pipes, taps, valves, flushing system, and clearing of choked drainage for all AETOS sites)
- To assist on any shifting works involving office furniture, accommodation and stores.
Administrative
- Record electricity and water meter reading.
- Any other duties assigned by Facilities Manager.
Requirements:
- NITEC in Facility Management or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in property/facilities management, with additional skills such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical expertise, will be considered an added advantage.
- Occasional weekend work may be required.
- Strong emphasis on teamwork.
