Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair food processing equipment and systems, such as mixers, slicers, grinders, ovens, freezers, conveyors, sensors, controllers, etc.
Conduct quality and safety inspections of food processing plants and equipment, and report any issues or defects to the management and the customers.
Train plant operators and staff on how to use, operate, and maintain food processing equipment and systems, and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations, such as HACCP, GMP, ISO, etc., and follow proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
Prepare and maintain accurate and timely records and reports of field service activities, such as work orders, service logs, test results, etc.
Communicate effectively with customers, plant managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in food processing technology and industry best practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or the management.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in food science, food technology, food engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of experience in food processing or food manufacturing industry, preferably as a field technician, service technician, or maintenance technician.
Knowledge and skills in food processing equipment and systems, food safety standards and regulations, and food quality and safety testing methods and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
