Roles & Responsibilities
- To be in charge of, rotating equipment pre-commissioning work.
- Monitor and supervise all testing and inspection commissioning activities.
- Supervise the subcontractor's activities.
- Daily monitor and supervise all activities in compliance with the project schedule.
- Follow up with the sub-contractor to achieve the schedule target.
- Assist and support the Quality assurance team in performing inspection and function tests in the mechanical area.
- Regularly planning and coordinating with the construction department to rank commissioning activities in piping and rotating equipment.
- Responsible for supervising the corresponding subcontractors and the preparation of required information for effective Project progress control.
- Follow and make the CRISP HSE program, collaborate with Exxon initiatives
- Prepare, and review commissioning working procedures. Collaborate with the subcontractor to elaborate on the Method of Statement for Pre-commissioning works
- Monitor and verify that the work execution and implementation are as per approved procedures
- Monitor closure of punch list as appropriate
- Flushing dry and preserve Piping at the site as per approved procedures
- Liaise with the Client’s Engineer for final inspection and approval of installed Piping, and equipment closure box-up
- Attending daily progress review meetings.
- Documents control, maintaining day-to-day activity records.
Requirements
· Minimum diploma in Engineering or other relevant technical as well as a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
· Must be physically capable of conducting field inspections and participating in project walks downs which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, entering in very small and/or confined spaces
· Knowledge of software in database, drawing, and scheduling programs (User level).
· Knowledge of chemical and mechanical cleaning technologies means and methods.
· Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to commissioning field activities.
Minimum 5 years in Jurong Island working experience
- Class 3 Driving License
- Willing to work in Jurong island
- Willing to work in a dirty environment
- Will to work in rotating shifts
- Willing to work in public holidays if required
