General Job Description:
1) Attend all job descriptions requirements for the position of Cargo Technician;
2) Minimum 10 years experience operating with Oil and Gas industry;
3) Minimum 6 years experience working offshore as 2nd Officer;
4) Advise and participate in the execution of in all marine related activities, including but not limited to offloading, supply boat operations, cargo handling, cargo and ballast equipment, in order to ensure their safety and compliance with internal and external procedures and regulations.
5) Guarantee the proper use of Technical Support departments, by ensuring that technical queries are properly identified, recorded in the sytem and always directed to Onshore departments for review/study, promoting a culture adherent to the company's systems.
6) Manage stocks of spare parts, consumables, tools, Marine Gas Oil (MGO Bunker according to the agreement with Client), lubricating oils and chemicals related to Marine Department by requesting the necessary materials for the department's activities in a timely and optimized way.
7) Contribute so that the vessel always holds valid Flag, Class and Port State certification by participating audits and inspections, supporting the Marine Superintendent and Cargo Supervisor in preparing the marine department and assisting to close out all non-conformities and observations.
8) Must have availability to go to Singapore to visit the shipyard;
9) Experience with Offshore is preferred;
10) Experience with FPSO is preferred;
11) Required availability to move to Brazil and work offshore for the FPSO operation;
12) Fluent Brazilian Portuguese speakers are mandatory.
13) Immediate availability preferred;
14) Knowledge on Brazilian legislation applicable to FPSO operation is required, including NR-10;
15) Availability to move to Brazil.
