2. The training requirements for the new contract technician will be as follows:

and 200-kg drums (approx. 3 weeks of OJT).
2.2.To be competent to pack finished goods from 3000-litre fixed tanks into 25- or 200-kg drums, using
mechanical pumps, and including doing tank cleaning using automated CIP (Cleaning-in-place)
process after packing (approx. 3 weeks of OJT).
2.3.To be competent to pack finished goods from 10000-litre fixed tanks into 25- or 200-kg drums using
diaphragm pumps, and including doing tank cleaning using automated CIP (Cleaning-in-place)
process (approx. 2 weeks of OJT).
2.4.During the training period and after acquiring the skills sets, the contract technician can be rotated
among the Fragrance, Cosmetic Ingredient and Oral Care plants for training.
2.5.Compounding at Fragrance, Oral Care and Cosmetic Ingredient plants (approx. 10 weeks of OJT).
3. During the training period, the contract technician will be paired up with a senior technician for OJT
(On-the-job) training on a buddy system. After the senior technician or Supervisor has certified that the
new technician is competent to work on his own, then the new contract technician will work solo under
the supervision of his work buddy.

Building and Facilities Technician

Job descriptions:

• Maintain the facilities with routine checks on electrical, air-conditioning systems, compressed air and chilled-water systems.

• Contact and work with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep the building in daily operational state.

• Supervise vendors during renovation in order to ensure a smooth transition to new areas.

• Maintain good housekeeping in AHU and switch room to maintain cleanliness of equipment and site.

• Work with contractors and vendors to carry out schedules and supervise work on premises to ensure quality cost effective repairs and renovation.

• Must be able to hands on to carry out repair for sanitary and plumbing works, electrical works and building works.

• Must be able to carry out simple fault finding for telephone lines.

• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum NTC education in Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical / Building

Services with 2 years of experience in building maintenance and facilities support.

• Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection will be of an added advantage

Property Executive (Facilities Management)

Overseeing the day-to-day management of properties

• Coordinating tenant fit-out works, additions and alterations, and reinstatement work
• Managing maintenance tasks to ensure the building facilities and equipment are in working condition
• Handling corporate administrative tasks, regulatory compliance, quality control, inventory control, and procurement
• Liaising and coordinating with contractors for facility-related equipment repairs and preventive maintenance
• Supervising term contractors to ensure they carry out routine and ad-hoc work as per the contract
• Managing complaints and feedback related to building and maintenance
• Providing support to the department in workplace safety and health matters
• Coordinating and assisting in the daily activities of the Corporate Department
• Assisting with ISO auditing/ConSASS and IMS Document Controller tasks
• Performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Possession of GCE ‘A’ Level/Diploma in any field
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro) or equivalent editing software is an advantage
• Self-motivated, cooperative, and able to work independently
• A good team player with an outgoing personality; creative and innovative
• Preferred certification in workplace safety & health and/or construction-related certificate
• Relevant ISO auditor certificates
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for senior positions
• Salary package will be based on experience level

The Facilities Executive is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair service around the school campus in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.). The Facilities Executive is also in-charge of general maintenance and upkeep of the campus, leading and coordination of cleaners’ task assignments and other duties assigned. This is a full time role reporting to the School Principal.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance:

• Identify school facilities maintenance needs and take corrective actions. Ensuring the safety and good functional standard of the school facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and general troubleshooting of school building and facilities (e.g. aircon maintenance, fans, lighting, sound systems).
• Carry out minor mechanical and electrical repairs in relation to school buildings and facilities, planned and executed with minimal risk or inconvenience to others.
• Perform general tasks as assigned (e.g.furniture revisions, minor painting works, changing of light bulbs, etc.)
• Managing and ensuring efficient use of storage and pantry spaces.

2. Safety and Security:

• Keeping the school premises and surrounding areas clear of trash, litter, debris and drainage chokes.
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment around the school premises including school premises.
• Assist to plan and monitor the biochemical waste and garbage disposal schedule. Ensure that the disposal is done properly by contractors.
• Overseeing contractors in improvement and repair works.
• Assist in premise safety (e.g. Fire extinguisher safety check, escorting contractors, tree pruning, and pest control).
• Working with the Principals, to plan, coordinate and execute Annual Fire Safety drills.

3. Sourcing and procurement:

• To be the central coordinating person for the sourcing and procurement of the school, in accordance to the policies of the company.
• To establish and maintain term contracts for essential infrastructure and AVLs for periodic purchases, in accordance to guidelines of the company.

4. General Duties

• To serve as the contact person between the school management, the managing agent and the landlord.
• Assist in coordinating the deployment of cleaners' tasks assignment.
• Facilitate in the preparation of school events and activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years of experience in a similar or related environment
• Nitec in Built Environment or Higher Nitec in Facility Management or higher.
• Prior experience in facilities management especially in a school environment is highly advantageous;
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Receptive to feedback and able to accept changes positively;
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and other related applications.

Working hours: 8am to 5pm
