• Work in cooperation with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure that supplied systems pass all relevant class surveys and inspections.
• Produce and document all necessary paperwork for class certifications during commissioning process.

Workshop Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of all items in the workshop inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.

Receiving and Dispatch:

• Receive incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders.
• Prepare items for dispatch, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.

Organizing and Storing:

• Arrange and organize materials in the workshop store for easy accessibility.
• Implement an efficient storage system to maximize space utilization.
• Label and categorize items to facilitate quick retrieval.

Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment:

• Keep the workshop area clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
• Adhere to safety protocols when handling, working with and storing materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines in all electrical activities.
• Conduct regular safety checks on electrical systems to mitigate potential hazards.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure that workshop equipment, such as tools, machineries, shelves and racks, are in good condition.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant department.

Requirements

• Able to read drawings and terminate central cables.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for Electrical main switchboard.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Possession of a Class 3 Driving Licence or WSQ Forklift Operator Licence is advantageous.
• Prior work experience in shipyard is advantageous.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

• Responsible for the scheduled & corrective maintenance of instrumentation & control system and equipment

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing scheduled maintenance (Preventive/Predictive Maintenance) programs and corrective maintenance (CM) of all the analyzer and instruments in the plant and prepare reports
• Preparation of MSRA for all maintenance works to be carried out
• Calibrating analyzer, instruments, components, CEMS and systems.
• Installing, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital).
• Installing and terminating pneumatic and fluid connections.
• Inspecting and testing the operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults
• Removing, repairing, adjusting and replacing components of control valve & actuators, positioner, transmitters and switches
• Maintaining backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation.
• Coordination with 3rd party vendors for maintenance work and spare parts ordering
• Raising and closing permits in CMMS/ SAP system for maintenance work
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Instrumentation or equivalent Engineering discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in controls and instrumentation
• Knowledgeable and experience in PLC and DCS systems
• Experience working in the Incineration plant / process Power plant industry is an advantage

General Duties:

• Assures the regularity of the production operations (reactions, distillation, transfers etc..)
• Verifying the control panels and control instruments (DCS, alarms, etc.) the process parameters.
• To carry out plant areas patrol to ensure orderliness during the shift.
• Check and ensure that the documentation record is properly (to inform when any deviation or missing data, wrong data record etc.).
• Ensure that the entire operations are following quality, EHS and SOP requirements.
• Carry out daily housekeeping and meets the acceptable standard (5S).
• To ensure all the routine works is carried out as per instruction.
• Collaborates with the Warehouse to pick up materials (raw material and / or process solvents) from delivery areas to the shop floor
• To have a positive mindset of continue update himself by take-up of internal or external training for further requirement.
• To participate in company activities (TPM, KYT, Near miss and Kaizen etc.).
• Set and achieve targets.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least NITEC in Chemical related courses
• Must have a good working attitude, good safety and GMP compliance knowledge.
• Must be able to perform 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or chemical process plant will be an added advantage.
