Adecco is partnering with an FMCG client and we are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their business. Working alongside the Logistics Executive, this position requires the incumbent to independently handle logistics fieldwork of receiving and releasing general cargo, maintaining product inventory, and liaising closely with the forwarders on warehouse storage processes while reporting directly to the Manager. The Job:

• Ensure efficient and timely preparation for collection and delivery of stock and trade/marketing materials to boutiques, retailers, and events.
• Coordinating general cargo and performing stock in and out according to movement.
• Liaise with forwarders on warehouse storage processes.
• Oversee and maintain the cleanliness of the general office and marketing store.
• Ordering of relevant materials, arranging with third party for collection and delivery.
• Perform weekly/monthly stock count and ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Ensure all company’s inventories (luxury products) are properly monitored and reconciled to minimize discrepancies.
• Ensure that shipments on purchases are properly checked and reconciled against shipment invoices. To follow up with Headquarters on any purchase-related issues when necessary.
• Ensure that the quality control on new shipments is performed according to quality standards set by HQ.

The Talent:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a luxury/retail environment
• High level of accuracy to ensure no missing inventory
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language to converse with English-speaking stakeholders

The Job:

• Handle customer orders and route them accordingly
• Address customer inquiries regarding shipments, including tracking, routings, quotations, and booking confirmations
• Complete documentation for local airfreight import and export
• Manage import and export shipment documentation for Singapore and the APAC region
• Utilize Transportation Management System (TMS) and Cargowise for order processing
• Coordinate shipments and manage operational requirements
• Perform general administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing

The Talent:

• Relevant experience in logistics or shipping coordination in managing air import/export operations is required
• Experience in handling cold chain, biomedical, pharmaceutical, or clinical trial logistics is advantageous
