We are looking for a passionate and self-driven individual to join our Insurance Operations Team (Regional). In this role, you act as an important liaison between Insurance advisors, insurer providers, and regional colleagues. The main function of this position includes the following:

• Handling the documentation and submission of new insurance business
• Handling enquiries from Insurance Advisors
• Comfortable with liaising with external counterparties pertaining to client’s policy administration
• Handling day-to-day tracking of insurance submission status
• Processing of monthly commission reports
• Quality control and system improvement
• Project testing and User Acceptance Testing
• Assisting Team Manager in ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Banking & Finance/Business Administration
• A good team player who can work independently and diligently
• Meticulous and enjoys working with documents
• Able to work well in a fast pace environment with little supervision
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Good communication and team building skills
• Competent with MS Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Undertake and be responsible for daily cash operations BAU tasks
• Perform transactional and cash position reconciliation against internal system and banks records
• Requires steadfast processing and abiding by strict cutoff times (e.g. by currency / customer requests), whilst maintaining accuracy & quality over output
• Ensure timely escalation of system issues and work with tech counterparts to resolve those issue
• Timely follow up of queries arising from internal stakeholders
• Issue/incident and error management and the related follow up and reporting
• Provide support to rest of the team during peak and leave periods
• Participate actively in UATs
• Assist manager in new business developments research and or fact findings
• Rotational office admin duties

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Studies/ Administration/Management, Mathematics or equivalent
• Ability to work under stress with a sense of urgency to meet various currency cutoff times and customer's specific SLA with zero error rate
• Able to work staggered hours and participate in weekend live testing
• Ability to work overtime (typically including, but not limited to Mondays (across weekend), post holidays, month end weeks) due to surge in volume during these periods
• Prior experience in reconciliations at Banks and/or Financial Services a plus
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
• Committed to resolving problems and possesses a never give up attitude
• Effective communicator and work wells with others
• Highly adaptable to changes swiftly and be an advocator of innovations within the team
• Proficient with MS excel, VBA knowledge a plus

Responsibilities:

Trade Facilitation / Market Making

• Provide competitive and accurate pricing of bond prices
• Facilitate Bond Trades
• Provide regular updates on pre-selected bond list
• Execute arbitrage trades on behalf of company’s bond investments
• Handle client’s requests and relevant back office/compliance requests

Managing bond investment and funds

• Provide monthly updates on company’s bond investment portfolio
• Ensure adequate investment and risk exposure for company’s bond investments
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time

Requirement:

• Degree in any discipline with relevant experience in Fixed Income Industry
• Certifications in CMFAS M1a, M5, M6 and M6a will have an added advantage
• Preferably with 1 or 2 years of experience in securities dealing at a stockbroking firm
• Successful candidate might be required to take the relevant Singapore and Malaysia examination modules
• Able to handle clients independently, excellent interpersonal skills and resourceful

• Perform execution orders for fixed income and listed securities (Stocks, ETFs, DLCs, Structured Warrants) on global exchanges
• Generate fixed income/ ETFs/stocks ideas
• Conduct presentations and training
• Service and support company's existing customers
• Involve in the development of securities trading solution and enhancement of process flow
• Set up new market access to global stock exchange and new counterparties
• Involve in Product Development and ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

• Degree with 1 or 2 years of experience in securities dealing in stockbroking industry preferred
• Holder of Representative Licence with MAS and those with an existing portfolio of stock trading clients will be an advantage
• Strong interest in the stock market and investment products
• Highly driven and self-motivated
• Able to handle clients independently, excellent interpersonal skills and resourceful
