Job Description

• To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work.
• To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers.
• To work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings.
• To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
• Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.
• Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.
• Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work.
• Preparing construction sites, materials and tools.
• Distributing construction materials.
• Digging trenches and shafts and backfilling holes.
• Operating pneumatic hammers, tampers and vibrators.
• Mixing, pouring and levelling concrete and asphalt.
• Regulating traffic and embedding traffic signs where appropriate.
• Assisting with the transport and operation of equipment and heavy machinery used in construction sites.
• Following instructions and orders from construction project managers and supervisors.
• Adhering to all safety and health protocols and regulations.
• Loading and unloading of building materials, tools and equipment.
• Cleaning the construction site by eliminating hazardous items, garbage and debris.
• Assisting craft professionals like carpenters and electricians with their tasks as required.
• Liaise with various authorities (PUB, LTA, N-Park, …)

Requirement

• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experiences in Pipeline, Cable works will be advantageous.
• Possessed of SCWSH (BCSS) is mandatory.
• Highly proactive attitude, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Able to works outdoor enviroment and withstand intense pressure enviroment.
• 6 days work week.
• Highly proactive attitude, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Register Earthworks Supervisor certificate.
• Driving license (Class 2 or Class 3).
