Roles & Responsibilities:

· Delivers high quality design and/or technical work, engaging others with their creative and innovative thinking.

· Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the design process and project brief, coordinating the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.

· Takes responsibility for quality control and supervision of project deliverables.

· Coordinates and integrates the work of external contractors, suppliers and professionals.

· Role models and contributes towards a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practice shared.

· Builds a network across the business and seeks leadership opportunities by directing and supporting junior team members.

· Develops effective relationships with clients and consultants.

· Support senior colleagues with client presentation, making a positive contribution towards project meetings and client engagements.

· Takes responsibility for aspects of the project budge, and liases with stakeholders to ensure delivery.

· Seeks to develop a working understanding of cost control, fee charging and project finance, and considers how project fees are maximized without threat to client relationship and repeat work.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor/ Master’s degree qualified in related design field or hold equivalent certification; professional registration is preferred.

· At least 10 years’ experience in similar role with responsibilities that apply in-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design.

· Fluent in spoken and written English.

· Enthusiasm for architecture and design, commitment, reliability and team spirit

· Proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline - Revit is essential.

· A talented designer, with a portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking.

· Experience of successfully delivering large scale projects through all work stages, within APAC regions.

· Strong organisational and supervisory skills, you have a proven ability to manage projects and people to deliver great results.

· Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team.

· Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship.

· Ability to relate and work well with people at all levels within the team and within the wider office, as well as externally with clients

· A strong passion for architecture, interior architecture and interior design.

· Proficient in managing high-profile architectural and interior projects with corporate and private clients

· Working with the team across projects to deliver design and technical excellence that meet high-quality standards.

· Plans, coordinates, and manages the project process, maintaining involvement throughout.

· Liaises with Senior Associate/Director to ensure that innovative and thought-provoking projects are delivered consistently.

· Leads project meetings and some client presentations, increasingly acting as the primary contact for client interaction and maintaining good relationships with clients to maximize opportunities for repeat business.

· Role models and fosters a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practices shared.

· Leads, guides and provides training to junior talent, providing timely feedback that contributes to their continuing creative, technical and professional development.

· Initiates or participates in the studio or group activities, leads brainstorming sessions and manages conflicts effectively.

· Leads project meetings and some client presentations, increasingly acting as the primary contact for client interaction and maintaining good relationships with clients to maximize opportunities for repeat business.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Director to lead our Interior Design Team. The ideal candidate will possess at least a decade of relevant experience in contract negotiation, business development, project management, and client servicing within the Interior Design industry.

Responsibilities

· Provide strategic directorship & leadership to the interior design team, ensuring it is aligned with company objectives and client needs.

· Responsible for developing new clients and secure new projects.

· Drive business development efforts, identifying and pursuing new opportunities to expand the company's portfolio and market reach.

· Apply your expertise in all phases of Interior Design project deliverables, from Concept Design to Construction Administration, to ensure the successful realization of design concepts.

· Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth and skill development.

Requirements
