As a Java Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be expected to perform independently. Additionally, you will be required to actively participate and contribute in team discussions,

as well as provide solutions to work-related problems. Advanced proficiency in Java is required. Springboot with advanced proficiency, Configuration & Release Management with beginner proficiency, Design & Build Enablement with beginner proficiency, Build Management with intermediate proficiency, and Amazon Web

1. Services (AWS) with beginner proficiency are recommended.

2. Develop innovative solutions to enhance application performance

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements

4. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback

5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

6. Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

A 12-months contract assigned to our client

Salary Range : $5,000-$6,300

Security clearance required before onboarding

Design & Build Enablement - to read existing JAVA codes and write specs base on the JAVA codes and build API

Top 3 MUST have skills:

1. Strong proficiency in Enterprise Java and related backend framework (Spring, Hibernate, JPA etc).

2. Experience with enterprise DBMS solutions, preferably IBM DB2.

3. Familiar with JSP & JSF.

Good to have

2. Familiar with frontend UI development, particularly with React and Typescript.

3. Familiar with Figma.

Job Description

• Read legacy JSP UI and java codes to extract business rules and design APIs required to invoke existing Java methods.

• Document down the specifications of the API such as request and response schema, and mapping of the variables from the payloads to the UI fields, and where

the APIs will be invoked from the UI to the SRS/SDS document.

• Work with BA on finalising the design with Client.

• Build the APIs and JUnit based on the documented design.

• Work with BA and React developers to support defect fixes.

3. Experience working with IBM WebSphere Liberty server a bonus.

• Conversion of existing legacy UI from JSP to React.

• Develop UI in a well thought out manner to ensure scalability and reusability of the program.

• Integrate the API built to the React UI.

• Ensure the look and feel of the UI to be consistent throughout the entire application.

• Carry out local unit testing to ensure quality of code.
