Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in remittances operations
• Familiar with SWIFT system and SWIFT messages MT103 and MT202
• Familiar with AML/CFT requirements and able detect any suspicious transactions
• Ability to work independently and has a positive, service-oriented attitude
• Good team player with good communication and people skills

Job Summary

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the Reservations Officer carries out Room Sales via telephone or correspondences, ensuring that all information furnished to guests are accurate and appropriate. He/she will ensure that all data entry into systems are error free.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all correspondence are replied within 24 hours.
• Ensure prompt and accurate answering of all incoming calls within 3 rings.
• Suggest appropriate or ideal package to guests according to the information that was provided.
• Ensure that all follow-up are done promptly and efficiently.
• Upsell wherever possible.
• Ensure that all bookings are retrieved and entered into PMS within the same day.
• Ensure that all daily reports are printed promptly.
• Ensure that daily tasks of no-show, traces, missing correspondence and car transfer reports are followed up promptly and efficiently.

Key Requirements

• At least 1 year experience in hotel industry (any department)
• Good computer skills
• Fluent in English (Written and Spoken)
• Excellent telephone etiquette

We are currently seeking highly-motivated, passionate Tour Operations Officer to help our customers fulfil their travel aspirations and materialise their travel plans by understanding their requirements and work closely with them to create personalised, seamless itineraries. The Tour Operations Officer manages all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination and customer support.

He/She is service-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills, able to address any vendor management issues. He/She is able to think clearly in emergencies and ensures smooth tour operations in accordance with schedules/itineraries.

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with service providers (such as cruise lines, airlines, land operators, hotel) and sending reservation requests to service providers
2. Monitor ticketing deadline and cruise, air tickets issuance, GDS tickets stock requisitions and block cabin control.
3. Interaction with cruise lines, suppliers and business partners to settle and finalize logistical requirements for cruise groups and outbound tour groups
4. Take note of special requests for seat preferences and dietary restrictions
5. Generate Group Sales (GS) and budget costing.
6. Generate Exchange Order (EO) to make payment to cruise lines, airlines and operators
7. Handle any operations-related enquiries and assist Sales Team when required.
8. Creation of tour type and tour code using in-house travel system
9. Issue travel documents to customers
10. Provide information, quotations and assistance during destination travel events, if required.
11. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma in Travel related studies
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a travel & tourism company
• Good command of English & Chinese to deal with overseas business partners.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office (World, Excel, Outlook) applications and computing skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be team oriented, extremely motivated, and able to work independently
• Knowledge of of CRS, GDS and CRM system (Airline booking system) is an advantage
• Experience of working in an operational or customer service role in the travel industry is preferred

Job Description

• Implement appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
• Enforce all safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations
• Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate corrective actions
• Conduct regular inspection to ensure ECM and environmental plan in place
• Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation

Requirements

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in construction industry
• Occupational Safety Management (including fire & safety management)
