Confirm all shipment information with origin to initiate shipment

Receive and validate customers order including shipping documents, SLI, EIN, credit application

Review/update; verify fees, customer profile, SOP, and rates per quote or customer SOP/work instructions

Verify shipment status, review pre-alert and verify shipment handling instructions to operations

Serve as a liaison between Document Processing Agent and the Customer regarding shipment details and/or exception

Communicate and resolve problems that arise in the movement of product

Communicate exceptions and shipment status with Customer

Work Time Profile:

Job Duties:

• Prepare the Statements of Account for customers
• Maintaining an AR phone line to ensure queries or concerns from customers are addressed promptly
• Follow up on all AR outstanding matters to reduce overdue AR payments via email, calls and WhatsApp messages
• Daily updates of the cash/cheques collected
• Performing checks on credit notes
• Performing checks on purchase invoices
• Participate in system implementation and improvement
• Visiting customers together with the sales team to forge relationships and address outstanding issues
• Any other ad-hoc projects assigned

What you need to have/be:

• Educational background equivalent to GCE O Level or Diploma
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, both written and verbally, to address inquiries and resolve issues in English and Chinese as most of our customers are Chinese-speaking
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing financial transactions and maintaining records
• Proactive approach to addressing issues and finding solutions
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of financial information
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures, software, or organisational structure
• Candidates with some experience in basic bookkeeping preferred
• Prior experience with financial systems such as Navision or similar platforms preferred

- Oversee operations and cleanliness on ground

- Perform general cleaning to maintain cleanliness

- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards

- Prepare operations reports and other administrative duties

- Assist in operations on ground as and when required

- Any other related duties assigned by manager

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the CEO & managing a Finance team
• Full accountability and accuracy of reports, including financial reports, budget & forecasting
• Effective implementation, administration, compliance of accounting policies , procedures , controls and practices
• Lead in business planning, internal management reports, assist in short and long term strategic plans
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers and government agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance, CPA, ACCA or equivalent with min 10yrs of finance leadership experience. Prior experience in IPO listing.
• Good leadership and dedicated team player, dynamic , confident and positive disposition
• Ability to make value added changes to achieve business objectives and goals
• Proficient in Mandarin
