• Preform day to day operations and supply of utilities (eg Electricity, Water, Air Conditioning) to support company operations

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Perform daily system monitoring to ensure integrity and availability of hardware, resources, and critical processes.
• Monitor server performance and address issues proactively to prevent downtime.
• Conduct hardware break-fix activities including analysis, log capturing, and faulty part identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with project teams for IBM server hardware inventory and associated component management.
• Support firmware patching, component replacement, and server consolidation/migration tasks with IBM.

Technical Support and Assistance:

• Assist in IBM HMC call home testing and server consolidation.

• Assist with data center relocation project preparation, verification, and post-migration support.
• Assist ad hoc duties assigned by the Unix/Wintel/Storage team members.

Data Center Infrastructure Management:

• Conduct data center floor walks for physical inspection and assessment to ensure proper functioning, security, and efficiency of the infrastructure.

Responsible to lead a team of M&E personnels.

Acquire approval scope of works and ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.

Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction M&E works process.

In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details and construction drawings.

Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance with the master program with no delay in works and proper work sequencing.

Attend site meetings with the client and all sub-contractors to review project progress.

Monitor and report project details including progress, risks and resolve MEP-related issues in a timely manner.

Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all project personnel.

Lead and supervise project personnel on site to ensure construction activities are carry out effectively and timely.

You will be responsible for the safety, quality, progress and environmental impact of the Contractors' works. You will be part of a team involved in the renewals of the existing LRT systems, including the managing of contractors involved in designing, modifying, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning of the LRT systems. You will review contractors’ submission and provide insights and comments for improvements to these submissions. You will be participating in the installation, testing, and commissioning of the LRT systems thereby ensuring functionality of the systems are delivered. Some of these activities may be executed during engineering hours at night.

You will also be collaborating with various parties such as contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders, and the appointed Railway Operator to ensure effective project integration and address any operations or maintenance matters. You will also assist in reviewing system related submissions, providing insights and comments for improvements to the design, installation, testing, maintenance, and operations of the LRT systems.
