• Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act, regardless whether their names are stated in the form,
• Check mock-ups done on site and off site, where necessary,
• Conduct inspection and check as required under Authority Operational and Safety requirements.
• Conduct compliance check on the implementation of mitigating measures in method statement, risk assessment and DfS register.
• Ensure that records of all civil and structural engineering works, mechanical and engineering works including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, etc, are updated in a timely manner and properly kept,
• Maintain proper and updated daily records of all works done including records of tests, inspections, status of work, variation works, tests, inspections, work progress, safety, site diary, material on site and equipment on site, labour force, day works, provisional items or provisional quantities etc,

Job Requirements:-

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as RTO, of which at least two (2) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to the Works
• Diploma in Civil or Structural engineering from a recognized tertiary institution or relevant qualifications.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
• Have a certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry or equivalent.
• Possess good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities; -

Duties include, but not limited to:

· Develop construction project schedule

· Deliver project on time, to budget and to other agreed success criteria within corporate guidelines including the client requirements.

· Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project and provide timely updates

· Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies, and other problems

· Ensure compliance to all governmental and building regulations

· Make sure all staff, contractors and suppliers are very clear on the project needs, requirements and schedule

· Establish good communication and working relationships with client, consultants, government agencies, contractors, suppliers and staff.

· Manage project team, all site staff, site works, materials and equipment effectively and efficiently

· Investigate unsatisfactory productivity / performance and initiate measures to improve

· Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders, as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks

· Responsible for all inspection activities

· Monitor and supervise entire project team to ensure compliance of work

· Check and monitor project budget, as well as prepare for unforeseen costs

· Manage material at construction site to ensure zero wastage and no overstock of material

· Manage company assets and equipment rental to ensure optimal utilization and cost

· Manage manpower and overtime cost to ensure optimal cost benefit within or below budget

· Attend and/or chair meetings with clients, architects, engineers and workers

· Prepare regular progress reports for each project

· Ensure all changes to specifications, work scopes and drawings are properly documented

· Undertake accident investigation when remitted by the relevant designated competent person

· Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the management

Requirements:

· Minimum experience of 3 years as a Construction Project Manager, overseeing projects of value above S$3 million

· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Others or equivalent.

· Able to work flexibly and react to different situations and needs efficiently

· Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.

-Operate and maintain various types of concrete pumps in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer's instructions.

-Connect hoses and pipelines to the pump, as well as set up the pump and pipeline system to transport concrete to the placement area.

-Communicate with the site supervisor, crew, and the concrete delivery truck driver to ensure the safe and timely completion of the project.

-Maintain the cleanliness of the pump, hoses, and other equipment used in the operation of the concrete pump

-Pump concrete with precision and accuracy to ensure the quality and consistency of the concrete mixture and placement.

-Ensure safety procedures and standards are followed at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to site safety procedures.

-Perform routine maintenance and necessary repairs on pumps and equipment to ensure their proper functioning.
