Key Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience for the Senior Executive position and minimum 5 years of experience for the Assistant Manager position
• B2B experience preferred; agency experience is a plus
• Bilingual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate and have a flair in creating thought leadership content that engages the target audience
• Strong proofreading and writing skills

Key Responsibilities

A. Legal Advisory and Strategy

1. Serve as the primary legal advisor to the executive team and board of directors, providing expert legal advice on a wide range of business matters, including corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and major contracts.
2. Develop and implement legal strategies that align with the company's overall business goals, safeguarding the company's legal and business interests in both domestic and international operations.

B. Regulatory Compliance

1. Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the company's operations, such as corporate law, securities regulations, labor laws, data protection laws, and antitrust laws.
2. Develop and implement compliance programs and training initiatives to educate employees about legal and regulatory requirements and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
3. Coordinate with regulatory authorities and handle any inquiries, investigations, or audits in a timely and appropriate manner.

C. Corporate Governance

1. Ensure the company's corporate governance practices comply with legal requirements and best practices, advising on board composition, fiduciary duties, and corporate policies and procedures.
2. Participate in board meetings and committees as a legal expert, providing guidance on legal and governance matters and contributing to the development of sound corporate decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

A. Experience

1. Minimum of [15] years of progressive legal experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house corporate legal experience.
2. Proven track record in handling complex legal matters, including corporate transactions, litigation, and regulatory compliance in a corporate setting.

1. In-depth knowledge of corporate law, contract law, litigation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property law, and other relevant legal areas.

This role is part of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), that manages Singapore Discovery Centre's (SDC), Singapore Airforce Museum (AFM) and Singapore Navy Museum (NM) - Sales department. The jobholder will plan, execute, and manage the sales of programmes, events, including but not limited to, pricing, day-to-day sales operations and working with internal departments to meet specifics requirements catered for each event. Successful candidate may assume as a Team Lead to manage a team.

Responsibilities:

• Potentially leading a team of 2-3 Sales executives to provide guidance, directions and ensuring the team achieved the desired results individually and as a team
• Develop and maintain long term business relationships with clients by providing consistent sales service, follow up on enquiries and rapport building.

About the role

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree is required.
