Reporting

Tax Matters (ie Corporate Tax / GST / Transfer Pricing)

• Prepare/review monthly tax and deferred tax computation and assist in providing tax schedules to tax agents for the preparation of annual tax return and tax queries;

• Prepare/review quarterly Goods & Services Tax ("GST") working and reconciliation for filing of GST Form 5 to IRAS;

• Deal with tax agent and local authorities and ensure all tax filings and any other legal filing as required by local laws and regulations are performed accurately and timely;

• Assist in preparation of transfer pricing documentation;

• Resolve any tax related issues raised by tax authorities/tax agent/tax consultants.

Corporate Secretarial matter

• Handle / provide support in Singapore Corporate Secretariat matters by liaising with our appointed Corporate Secretary and/ or relevant local/ overseas parties.

Internal Controls, Process Improvements and Others

• Identify and initiate improvement areas and develop good accounting, control procedures and best practices to enhance overall accounting operations, work quality and efficiency;

• Lead / support Department in new initiatives or projects as and when required.

Who We Are Looking For

• Min Degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA or professional accounting qualification equivalent;

Accounts Executive, Accounts Payable

As the Accounts Executive at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, you will be integral in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. Business Engineers Asia (BEA) is extending a unique opportunity for candidates who are fresh graduates, or keen to learn about strategic warehouse management, especially in e-grocery / e-commerce including cross border operational management. This opportunity is also open for anyone looking for a career switch intoOperations Management (Singapore + overseas operations). This is a supporting role, reporting to the Senior Management. The internship period is for 6 months and upon the completion of 6 months, if the candidate is suitable or if the candidate is interested to continue, BEA review on training for the overseas operation plus extend a minimum of 12month contract to work in Singapore and also oversee our overseas operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, has the ability to multi-task, beflexible and adaptive. The candidate needs to build good customer relationships - internal and external, identify customers’ needs to adjust operational requirements and resolve basic operational issues independently (within the guidelines / SOPs). More importantly, we are looking for candidates who are willing to learn, have empathy and truly understand the challenges and needs of SMEs or micro SMEs. It is a role that requires "heart" (empathy), as skills can and will always be acquired through training (but not empathy)!

Responsibilities

• Basic warehouse management (the BEA way) and cater to online and offline operational requirements
• Lead the warehouse team and work cohesively to run the daily operations
• Assist the Senior Management in our upcoming overseas setup (fulfilment and warehouse operations in India and Poland)

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree - with or without experience in warehouse or operations management
• 0~1 years' of warehouse to operations management (not compulsory)
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English is a must + other languages is a bonus)
