Job Scope
– Oversee the end-to-end process of the domestic helper placement cycle, including sourcing, selection, interviews, contract preparation, and client support.
-Lead and mentor a team of sales agents, providing them with guidance, support, and training to maximize their performance.
-Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and other relevant authorities.
-Manage client relationships, address enquiries, and resolve any issues related to domestic helper placements.
-Monitor sales agents’ performance and provide guidance.
-Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and improve the overall customer experience.
-Work closely with management to set sales targets and ensure team goals are met or exceeded.
-Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales agents as needed.

Summary

Reporting to Head of Tax (Asia Pacific), you will be providing senior level support and expert tax advisory to Asia Pacific (APAC) senior management for business support, M&A, tax technical and compliance matters as required.

As the APAC Tax Expert/Manager, you will be collaborating closely with tax and finance teams primarily in APAC and also contribute in other jurisdictions with the Group’s Headquarters tax department. The incumbent is expected to lead discussions and bring issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice in support of APAC tax leadership

• Advise APAC business leadership as the subject matter expert on all taxation matters

• Provide tax advisory guidance and counsel to group shipping carrier organizations in APAC

• Lead in tax projects and/or lead for tax in cross functional projects

• Perform tax impact analysis in support of new business transactions

• Monitor tax provisions and interlock with internal teams to ensure consistency

• Provide tax audit and/or tax query support as required

• Support tax compliance processes as required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate tax environment in an MNC with/or Big 4 Accounting firm experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law or Economics from a recognized institution with at least 1 additional recognized tax accreditation or advanced degree in taxation

• Strong technical knowledge and abilities in Singapore Income Tax and cross border International Tax in shipping carriers/shipping is a huge plus
