Role and Responsibilities

• To plan and implement the curriculum a well-run, purposeful, engaging and child-centered programme responsive to children’s needs and aligned to the principles spelt out in the standard ECDA: Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Curriculum.
• Create a learner-centered environment where children have the freedom to exercise their inquisitive minds to explore, experiment, question, acquire knowledge and skills and create new knowledge
• Participate actively in assessing the needs of the children.
• Work with and support the Kindergarten Principal, colleagues and other non-academic staff at the Kindergarten in enhancing the quality of children’s educational experiences.
• Contribute talents and professional expertise towards the Kindergarten initiatives, educational programmes and projects.
• Keep abreast of the latest educational development and to continually upgrade one’s skills and knowledge.
• Be involved in action research projects.

Requirements
